Only Christ was perfect in wisdom, the rest of us will make mistakes and have disagreements with each other on this or that.

Fair enough. But then what do you make of the verse John 16:13? Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (KJV)

I have heard four different interpretations of this:

  1. This is actually applicable to all believers...guaranteeing that Scripture is self-validating and self-interpreting.

The challenge to this: see my first question. Why different interpretations on such critical points as soteriology and eschatology?
  2. This was addressed only to those who were there in order to guarantee that the Scriptures would be written properly. It doesn't apply to anybody anymore.

The challenge to this: First, St Paul was not there at the time. He was still in the Sanhedrin.

Second, if nobody is guided by the Holy Spirit, then whose to say that anybody at all is wrong?
  3. This entire section of Scripture wasn't even addressed to Christians (some ultra-dispensationalists hold this view). Therefore, we don't need to concern ourselves with it at all. Next!

The challenge to this: What about John 3:16?
  4. (The Catholic and Orthodox view): This was addressed to the apostles and their successors (witness the election of Matthias in Acts 1 as an example of succession).

This, IMHO, is the only interpretation that actually protects the Body of Christ until His return, assuring that there will be an accurate interpretation available for the faithful.

(Now I realize that you won't agree with my commentary on choice 4...and I'm not trying to slam you)

So the question, again, is: what about John 16:13?

Would you say that none of John 16 applies to all true believers?

Sounds like when the antiChrist reigns some of us will be put into prison and then taken to the antiChrist's courts and there the Holy Spirit will speak through the righteous prisoners and convert many. It will be a big event. There is no rapture by the way.

Instead of a number, I think Luke 24 has a suitable answer to your question. That being what Jesus Christ opened to not only the apostles but other disciples as well.
