Like I said in my post, I’m not that familiar with either cult but had just been doing some research as this thread was posted that indicated there was a tie of some sort. This Herbert Armstrong, is he somehow related to Garner Ted Armstrong?
Yes, Garner is his demonic son! Colofornian’s other post mentions him. Here’s the relevant section:
