Prayer for our American Heroes and Nation

My heart throbs; my strength fails me, and the light of my eyesit also has gone from me. Psalm 38:10
there are some prayers that are hard to visit. Most especially, the realization of tragedies that can happen to those of our beloveds. OH LORD, on that day, we pray for relentless MERCY and unending GRACE to be upon those in need. We pray for the special services of our Military Medical Teams whose hearts and minds reel when they see one of theirs fallen. Give them good speed to save, stability to rescue, tenderness to comfort, assurance of faith, as they work with the HOPE that is in them.
FATHER, I pray for YOUR DIVINE SHIELD OF PROTECTION to be larger than any foe that would be before any of our heroes. I pray for my son, Jacob. I pray for our Courtney. I pray for Alek, Mike, and Erik. I pray for everyone who will insert their own specific name here today. We join hands and hearts, with eyes fixed on YOU, as we rest in our HOPE for them.
And LORD, for these suffering with the sorrow of a fallen, how we pray for TENDER MERCY. Weak will be the heart burdened with sorrow. LORD, comfort as only YOU CAN, for GOD
YOU ARE LOVE
and DIVINE LOVE will be the only help. OH LORD. We pray. Amen.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON
THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE
"Let Tyrants Shake Their Iron Rod"
Mixed District Choir, Fairfax, Virginia
IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.
FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who marched into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.
AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

God Of Our Fathers, Whose Almighty Hand
Morman Tabernacle Choir
HEAVENLY FATHER, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these valiant men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your Countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Read: 1 Peter 4:7-11
I love playing the 5-string banjo. But it has one drawback. The fifth string will harmonize with only a limited number of simple chords. When other musicians want to play more complicated music, the banjoist has to adapt. He can lend marvelous melodic tones to a jam session only by making the right adjustments.
Just as musicians adjust with their instruments, we as believers also need to make adjustments with our spiritual gifts if we want to harmonize with others to serve God. For instance, those who have the gift of teaching must coordinate with those who have the gift of organizing meetings and with those who make sure meeting rooms are set up and cleaned. All of us have spiritual gifts, and we must work together if Gods work is to get done.
The apostle Peter said, As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God (1 Peter 4:10). Stewardship requires cooperation. Think about your spiritual gifts (Rom. 12; 1 Cor. 12; Eph. 4; 1 Peter 4). Now reflect on how you can dovetail their use with the gifts of other believers. When our talents are used in a complementary way, the result is harmony and glory to God.
Without a note we sing in tune,
An anthem loud we bring,
When willingly we give our gifts
Of labor to our King. Branon
Keeping in tune with Christ keeps harmony in the church.
