Pope Francis encouraged Muslims to find hope in the Qur’an. 11 things to know and share.
Harvesting the Fruit of Vatican II ^ | 1/21/2014 | Louie Verrecchio

1. While visiting with a group of refugees at the Sacred Heart parish in Rome on Sunday, Pope Francis said:

“Sharing our experience in carrying that cross, to expel the illness within our hearts, which embitters our life: it is important that you do this in your meetings. Those that are Christian, with the Bible, and those that are Muslim, with the Quran. The faith that your parents instilled in you will always help you move on.”

2. As Catholics, we understand that the “illness within our hearts” is more than just the anxiety and sadness that accompany all who mourn and weep in this valley of tears; rather, the true source of man’s embitterment is separation from God.

3. Jesus Christ alone is the Divine Physician by whose “stripes we are healed.” (cf Isa 53)

4. The Qur’an maintains that Our Blessed Lord is but a mere man and nothing more. It is, in other words, a book of blasphemous lies, offensive to Almighty God and to those who love Him in truth.

5. One may cling to the Qur’an until their dying breath, but apart from Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, there is no salvation.

6. Those parents who instilled in their children a “faith” in the false god of the Qur’an have accomplished little more than perpetuating a lie, consigning their offspring to death.

7. Jesus Christ commissioned His Church to baptize all nations in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe everything whatsoever that He has commanded.

8. The Vicar of Christ has a duty to carry out this mission.

9. Pope Francis failed both Our Lord and the Muslims to whom he spoke at Sacred Heart parish in Rome.

10. Pope Francis joined those Muslim parents in perpetuating a lie that essentially consigned their offspring to death.

11. We must pray and fast for the pope.

What now? Pass this along to those who as yet do not realize the extent of the crisis of faith besetting the Catholic Church in our day; the diabolical disorientation that has taken hold of the sacred hierarchy even to the highest offices in Rome, so they might know for what they must offer oblation in reparation for such grave offenses against the Sacred Heart of Our Blessed Lord.

Only hope in Jesus, without Him we’re all lost.

This Pope is not good news, but Catholics will go on holding him up, nonetheless..

Well... I hate to be the bearer of bad news for those of you that adhere to the teachings of the Catholic Church but the doctrines of both false religions, Islam and the revamped Babylonian religion known today as the Catholic Church, are bogus and equally separated from God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
I believe pope francis to be the false prophet as evidenced in part by his idiotic council to muslims.
Unless people are told of God's great love and sacrifice for us through which we have been reconciled back to Him through Jesus Christ via the Holy Ghost they will not see the Kingdom of God. NO WHERE is the Catholic Church mentioned in the bible. Jesus of Nazareth Himself is quoted as saying, "... Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) and gave emphasis to that by saying, "...Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." (John 3:5)
There is NO OTHER WAY into the Kingdom of God. Jesus says, " I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The "Catholic Church", "Mary the mother of God" nor the "body of Christ (aka - the church)" are a segway into the Kingdom of God or to the Father. The quran, catechisms, the book of mormon, communist manifesto, confucius or any other false teachings will get you or anyone else into the Kingdom of God.

Paul says, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."

Amen!

There is nowhere in scripture that says ‘apart from His Holy Catholic Church there is no salvation’.

In fact, nowhere in scripture does it say ‘apart from the church there is no salvation’.

All scripture says is that apart from Jesus Christ, there is no salvation.

Satan always takes the truth and twists it just a little bit in order to create doctrines of men far removed from the Word of God.

This pope thinks he’s a rock star. He should realize that it’s not about him.

The Catholic Church is the ONLY true Church. Pure papal opinions on ecumenism as just that- statements of tolerance, not dogma. We’ve had enough of the heresies of Protestantism from the David Koresh’s to Jim Jones to Joel Osteens.

oh my! The very last thing this old world needs is for Muslims to keep reading their Korans! Boom Boom Bomb Bomb...

How about giving them some nice new Bibles instead?

I guess it’s a good thing you’re not to be taken seriously.

PEACE!
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”…John 14:5-7

Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.” But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’(that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:5-13

…For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1Peter 2:9

From Acts 4:11,12 -

Jesus is“‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

I'm a born-again Christian who was raised in a cultural Christian home. I didn't know what church to join, but I believed I should go wherever the truth led. A number of times I seriously considered the Catholic Church, but over time I've seen it itself is not of Christ. I went to masses, learned all about all the different churches, and listened to Catholic radio. My mother is a Catholic convert and I lived in an area that's 80% Catholic my whole life until I just recently moved to the Bible belt. And what I've seen is that where the Catholic Church dominates Christianity disappears. Yet I've been ready to embrace it as the truth and am I'm still ready to do that if God would lead me to do that. But as I said, so many of its doctrines completely go against God's Word.
There may be true, born-again believers in Christ in it who are saved, but many of the doctrines are not of God. I don't have time to go into them right now. I will later. But this development is just the fruit of Catholic doctrine. A man has been made the Catholic Church's highest authority, rather than God's Word, and he decides for himself what the truth is.

So tell me, if I grew up in a Baptist church and believed my whole life in what they taught what do you think will happen to me on Judgement day? Since the Catholic church is the ONLY true church according to you, did my Baptist church, who taught all things Biblical, lead me to a path away from Jesus where He will end up rejecting me? If not...then what DOES it matter? If I am a child of God saved by the Lord himself through belief, faith, repentence and accepting His spirit into my heart what does it matter if I even ATTEND a church???
