Journeys of Faith - the web site of Bob and Penny Lord.
Very sad, they both did amazing work.
That is the most beautiful play on things for a picture I have ever seen. Because of the life she gave him, it just makes such perfect sense.
Lord Jesus, rest the soul of Thy servant Penny with the saints.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, in the company of saints in Heaven, amen.
RIP Penny Lord.
Their books are easy readings. I especially loved the ones on the Santo Nino, Blessed Virgin Mary, saints.
RIP.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
May God now grant her great peace and absolute joy!
(Their books on the Eucharistic miracles are wonderful.)
I remember watching the episode about St.Clare of Montefalco. I believe that an autopsy after her death showed symbols of Christ’s passion on her heart, such as a scourge and the crown of thorns. There was some controversy about this though Clare is incorrupt with only her hands darkening a bit over the years.
