The Divine Office: The mystery of death

From the pastoral constitution on the Church in the modern world of the Second Vatican Council

In the face of death the enigma of human existence reaches its climax. Man is not only the victim of pain and the progressive deterioration of his body; he is also, and more deeply, tormented by the fear of final extinction. But the instinctive judgement of his heart is right when he shrinks from, and rejects, the idea of a total collapse and definitive end of his own person. He carries within him the seed of eternity, which cannot be reduced to matter alone, and so he rebels against death. All efforts of technology, however useful they may be, cannot calm his anxieties; the biological extension of his life-span cannot satisfy the desire inescapably present in his heart for a life beyond this life.

Imagination is completely helpless when confronted with death. Yet the Church, instructed by divine revelation, affirms that man has been created by God for a destiny of happiness beyond the reach of earthly trials. Read more...

Lots of words that are really meaningless in the article.

You can drop an atomic bomb on your head and it will not harm your soul. Death is to life what pregnancy is to a fetus in the womb. It’s not an end, but a beginning.

When you are in the womb, your perceptions are limited to those of your mother that you perceive as your own. Then you are free of the womb and perceive from your own senses.

When you are free of your body, you are now able to perceive not from your physical body, but from your soul or spirit. It is a new birth and is truly being born again of the spirit. It’s a natural progression of development of the soul.

Most people who claim to be “Born Again” really do not understand the experience. When it happens your total perception of reality changes and you begin to realize through your soul’s perception that Jesus is right here, right now, and so is our Father. It becomes a two way communication on a regular basis.

John 14:
Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

This is real, not theoretical. I have died, experienced heaven, and much to my dismay, returned here in my body again. Not by my choice!!

Well, if you are a platonist, you think this. But a human being is a union of body and soul, and to be separated from the body, and creation, is not what should be Hence the Christian doctrine of the Resurrection.

I does not matter what semantics of doctrine people accept or reject, reality does matter.

Possibly I would fit into the category of Platonic Realist, except that they separate objects into abstract and concrete based upon perception. For me, the line of demarcation is not so clear as perception is the variable that changes, not the reality of the object observed. What is perceived by one individual is not necessarily perceived by another. However, the reality is the same whether perceived or not. Many still perceive as a child.

Just as when you are born from the womb your perception of reality changed significantly from the limitations of the womb, when you are born of the spirit your perception of reality changes significantly again. Objects that would be abstractions to a child in the womb appear concrete to the sensory perception after they are born. Objects that appear as abstractions while you are limited to your physical body perceptions appear concrete from the perception of the soul or spirit.

For me, your soul and your thoughts and stored memories are physical tangible objects and not abstractions. Just as the physical body has various systems and attributes, so does your soul. Your physical body is a manifestation of your soul and it is sin in the soul that creates deterioration of the physical body. (I define sin as anything that creates an obstacle to Love in the soul. Love is the glue that holds the soul together.)

Just as a young child while learning to crawl develops 3-dimensional perception without realizing any great momentary change, the transition to perceiving souls is just a natural progression of soul development.

Jesus often spoke of the soul or spirit as separate from the physical body. He even advised that if your physical body was creating wounds in the soul it would be better to cut it off. For Jesus, the soul was not abstract. He was fully aware or awakened to the details of all souls around him. That’s how he knew their thoughts and past experiences. Matters of the flesh are not as important as matters that can wound the soul.

I have found that the consciousness from which we perceive varies according to its operational frequency. This is why perfect Love(a high frequency) casts out fear (a low frequency). To a person operating at a low frequency, mole-hills appear as huge as mountains while at a high frequency, mountains appear as small as mole-hills. Every Biblical scripture will fit into one of two categories. The first category contains guidelines on how to keep your soul clean(be like a child) or clean it through forgiveness, confession or similar actions. The second category is to always keep focused on God and Loving God to help you grow toward the higher frequencies.

This was the reason Jesus answered what He did in response the the Pharisees question on what was the most important commandment. The “Love thy Neighbor as Thy Self” removes your anchors and ballast that keeps your soul from growing to higher levels and the “Love God” commandment keeps the soul growing in the right direction. Both are critically important.

I have noticed that as you change your operational consciousness of your soul to higher frequencies the attributes change in a similar way to the EMF spectrum attributes. At low frequencies consciousness functions with wave attributes while at higher frequencies it functions with particle attributes, thus creating the change in perception. Just as a higher frequency such as a microwave will heat up and burn low frequency dense objects, a high frequency of consciousness (such as a prayerful blessing) to a low frequency consciousness is like placing hot coals upon their heads. This is why the weeds will be burned in Matthew 13. (Note: this is also why Polycarp was not harmed by the fire during his execution as he was filled with the high frequency Holy Spirit”)

I have also noticed that when a high frequency of consciousness is perceived by a low frequency consciousness, it is perceived as light. This is one of the many attributes of consciousness that I have observed is similar to atomic theory. Neals Bohr, the dutch atomic physicist who won the Nobel Prize discovered the same attribute in electrons going from a higher orbital to a lower orbital. There are many similarities such as this.

Is Jesus physical and tangible to you? He is for me. When Jesus went through the dark-night-of-the-soul experience and resisted the temptations of satan, his consciousness moved to the higher level where He perceived that His Father and He were one. Thankfully Jesus came to teach us how to do the same with Him. That is what communion is all about. As our soul grows to higher levels, you begin to perceive that we are one with Jesus, and that our Father that exists in Him also exists in us.

Where we must be careful is that a soul without a physical body has the ability to manifest the appearance of a physical body in any manner it desires. Often satan’s minions will take on the appearance of our deceased loved ones to lead us astray. They can be imitators or impostors. Jesus’ ability to heal and command spirits was a natural attribute of his higher frequency of consciousness. They were afraid that the Light that radiated from Him would burn them! Thus the concept of burning in hell.

Here is a puzzle for you. Matthew 24:

26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Wow, He must be one heck of a big dude to be seen everywhere! Jesus is already here. The concept of rapture is merely us cleansing our souls and growing(raising up) to the point that we perceive that He is here already.

The physical body is merely a tool to create the illusion of separateness from God in order to entice us to grow. It is the stage or forum for those experiences. The body is totally a function or manifestation of the soul or spirit and not vise versa.

Everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it is said:

“Wake up, sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

The individually of the soul surely has something to do with the individuality of the body, What can we know of the soul, except by the body. The mind and body looking inward find the soul, which is to say. that which already lives in eternity.

In death we recognize that we really are just soul as the body disappears.

The soul is only individual at the lower levels. As it increases in operation it expands to the point where one realizes that we are all one. What you do to your brother you are actually doing to yourself.

It is not the mind and body that look inward, it is consciousness. Consciousness is a function of the soul, not the body. It manifests the body at conception and departs at death. Without it there is no life energy to have cell division nor DNA transcription.

You can have consciousness without a physical body but you can’t have a body without consciousness.

But there is no consciousness without the body, not as we understand it. Human development is a kind of awakening, and as Christians we believe that we will never become fully aware until our bodies are finally transformed.

There is no consciousness without the body when you are viewing consciousness based upon the attributes of the body and from the perspective of the body.

However, when you are born of the spirit, consciousness is no longer restricted to the body sensory perception and you begin to perceive from your spirit or soul. At that point you begin to see and experience that not only is your soul much greater than your physical body, but that your soul actually manifests the physical body within itself.

Jesus did His healing by healing the soul. Just as illness to the body is caused by sin (a wound to the soul), healing the wound in the soul will in turn heal the physical body. Thus the powerful tool of “forgiveness” is actually healing the soul which in turn heals the physical body. (This is why the Pharisees asked who sinned when the man was blind from birth in John 9:1)

I have often done demonstrations to teach this in front of groups. I will have a person close their eyes and think of someone they are angry at. I walk back often 10 to 15 feet from the person. Their eyes are closed, I say nothing, I do not touch them, and hopefully no taste or smell thus their is no body sensory perception. When I take hold of the memory containing the anger that is stored in their soul, I can move them around like puppets on strings, often knocking them off their feet. It is not about what I do, but what is learned by observing what is done. It is not to show off, but to teach my Father’s message.

I use this demonstration to teach the power of forgiveness as when you are angry at someone, you have attached yourself to them and have surrendered control of yourself to some degree. (This is why Jesus said, If you have something against your brother, go and resolve it before you come and worship.) Forgiveness is for you to set your soul free, it is not for the other person. It is for you to regain control of your soul as you cannot move closer to God if your soul is shackled. This demonstration also shows that thoughts are real physical objects and we should be very careful what we think. Thinking a bad thought is almost as harmful as acting it out.

The entire physical body history is stored in the soul from conception on. It is the operational frequency of the soul that unfolds the biological clock that causes aging. This is done by changing the DNA transcription process that is utilized to manifest the body. The soul can manifest a new body in heaven if it desires, but there is no need for the anchor that draws the soul to the low level necessary to manifest the body. Even your own body restricts the abilities of your soul, but this is necessary in order that you do not become aware of your power and use it to harm others while you view life as a competition.

We are seeds, planted in the darkness of the soil, now beginning to sprout and grow out of the darkness where we can utilize the Light to bear fruit.

John 6: 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all.
