Hal Lindsey made the mistake that many have and still do that a generation is 40 years. It’s actually 70 years per scripture.

And when THAT does not work out, it will be 120 years.

Psalm 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Unless you can change scripture it will remain 70 or 80.
