Aaron’s Miraculous Rod

8. Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 9. “When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Show a miracle for yourselves,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent.’” 10. So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the LORD commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
11. But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12. For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. 13. And Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the LORD had said.

Blessed and Hallowed is Your Most Holy and Wonderful Name!
We Enter Your Gates With Thanksgiving
and Your Courts With Praise.
For You Alone Are Worthy;
You Alone Are LORD;
You Alone Are The One True God of Abraham!
Blessed Are You, Oh LORD, Our God,
King of the Universe,
Ancient of Days,
and Rock of All Ages.
Almighty Father,
we thank You for this Epic Story of Your Power over Nature,
and over the "gods" of the Egyptians.
Thank You, especially,
for documenting for all the Ages,
Your Anger at the Horrible Institution of Slavery,
both in the Ancient Times and in our own.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Almost daily, we are confronted with counterfeits. Of Course, a counterfeit is MOST effective when it closely mimics that which it attempts to replace.
Designer knock-offs from China line our store shelves, Fake Perfumes are sold on the street corner, and stores will not accept currency over a twenty dollar bill. False "holy books" contain plenty of "Thees and Thous" in order to sound like King James Era English.
Hollywood gives of a steady stream of movies about angels, heaven, life after death, and Bible Stories, which, at first, look as though they might be edifying, but, upon closer examination, prove to be counterfeit as well.
But WHAT are we to expect? These are the "Magicians of Pharaoh's Court", who have a "Staff" that can do Wonderful Things! But, in the end, these counterfeits WILL be Swallowed up By TRUTH.
