Good for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati!

Even if you removed the Catholic-specific qualifications, at least 90 percent of public school teachers would fail.

From the article:
"Moroski said he fears a lot of top talent in the Catholic school system might decide to leave rather than agree to the more explicit terms in the morals clause." Any "talent" that leaves over an explicit morals clause should have never been teaching in a Catholic school anyway.

They mention cohabitation, pre-marital sex, abortion, homosexuality, invitro, etc, but no mention of contraception. What gives?
And the part about membership in organizations incompatible with Catholic doctrine? That’s going to be a tough one to police. Hell, even the Catholic Church seems to stray from its own doctrine on a regular basis.

Beautiful! Kudos to the Cincinnati Archdiocese.
The bishop of Santa Rosa, CA, tried to do something like this last year, but, following the predictable outcry from the liberal teachers, parents and media, decided to delay implementation for 21 months. Prayers that he will have the spine to follow through when the 21 months is up.

We should pray that the archbishop will enforce this uniformly and without exception. Then, he will be a true shepherd.
