Oh, I understand that but what I find fascinating is the fact that in international politics what he did was like sending away the Churchill bust.

He is making a huge political statement not only to the world but to Catholics here at home. I kind of think people are missing the political point he is making.

A president does not do something like this without a ton of people being involved which makes it even more interesting and deeper than it is being thought about so far.....just my thoughts.

God judges us all, and Nancy will also have her time like the rest of us before God.

God help us all anyway, no one is perfect.
This woman though IMO was leading an effort to abort/kill children. Killing the innocent IMO is not compatible with Catholicism anywhere.

Hiya xs! After reading your comments, I think I'll elect to think that the Marxist received more than one Rosary and just passed one of those onto Pelosi. The evil John F. Kerry was also in attendance, so he likely took a handful. Heck, maybe a pocketful.

My post appears to be accurate. Nancy Pelosi met her Pope in person, she took Communion at the Vatican, was awarded a pro-abortion Margaret Sangar medal by Planned Parenthood, and now has been given a rosary which was a gift from her Holy Father, to her President and the leader of her party.

As Breitbart reports:
“On Tuesday, Pelosi discussed Obama’s gift to her with reporters after a luncheon with the president at the White House.
As the Washington Times reports , Pelosi said, “I was happy to receive a rosary blessed by Pope Francis. It means a great deal to me.””

I have to agree with you, most any of us would have given a Catholic friend a rosary from her Pope, as a thoughtful gift.

In Obama’s case it also is a public gift to one of his major party leaders, and it helps reinforce the pro-abortion, pro-democrat party position of most Catholic voters.

She’s already been excommunicated she’s done it to herself.

When she receives the Eucharist she is consuming her own DEATH at this point.

Would we rather see her publicly humiliated via a public excommunication? Probably many of us would. I know I’m tired of this scandal and believe me when she dies and when her bishop(s) die they will have a LOT to answer for of they don’t confess this sin. But this is just how it is now. There’s nothing to do.

Is this “satisfying”? What does really satisfy though? As I’ve said previously, only CHRIST satisfies, so it’s pretty darn foolish to hinge our measure of satisfaction on whether or not some obstinate sinner is publicly excommunicated.

For a Catholic, this should be enough. We should not let this scandal steal our joy in Christ. For the rest, pray that her bishop does the right thing or she is converted.

Other than that, there is nothing to be said. Or done. Lest we give the devil the tempestuous misgivings of our unbridled emotions.

15 promises their Lady (Mary) gave for praying the Rosary- taken from the How to Pray the Rosary instruction booklet...

Whoever shall faithfully SERVE ME (MARY) by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.

I promise MY ( MARY) special protection and the greatest graces to all who shall recite the Rosary.
The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell; it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, those souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

The soul which recommends itself to ME (MARY) by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.

Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.

Those who are faithful in reciting the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.
I (MARY) shall deliver from purgatory, those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

You shall obtain all you ask of ME ( MARY) by the recitation of the Rosary.

All those who propagate the holy Rosary shall be aided by ME ( MARY) in their necessities.

I ( MARY) have obtained from My Divine Son ( some Greco Roman diety with the similaritynof Tammuz) that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

All who recite the Rosary are MY ( MARY) sons, and brothers of My only Son Jesus Christ. ( greco roman substitute for the Lion of Judah)

Devotion to MY (MARY) Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Lots of I, me, my from Mary...

I can picture pelosi, biden, cuomo promising some of these in a campaign speech to get votes.. just substitute my rosary for ‘government’ or ‘democrat party’

Was Ted Kennedy excommunicated?

If he didn't repent of his sin of facilitating abortions before his death, yes. This goes for anyone who knowingly facilitates this scandal. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

Again, I'm not going to focus on some obsession to get these people excommunicated in a public fashion because I KNOW:

They are already excommunicated and ...

It wouldn't truly satisfy me if they WERE publicly excommunicated.

So I will not be baited into some "debate", the goal of which is merely to further the emotional and spiritual turmoil this scandal brings. That's what the devil wants, so anyone who wants to keep bringing up this subject is doing the devil's work IMO.

I shared what I shared in the hopes it would help both Catholics and non-Catholics realize there is nothing to be done, nothing that can be done, and thus no point in getting all worked up about this scandal. It's in God's hands now as it always in when faced with obstinacy in sin.

I didn't post to submerge myself in another pointless, prideful, anti-Catholic vs Catholic "debate" as so often springs up around here.

I'm certainly not here to debate, but it is only natural to wonder at how these respected Catholics who are treated as Catholic royalty and privileged members of the church by the Catholic denomination, are so casually dismissed here, to a non-catholic, conservative Christian audience.

We all know what Ted Kennedy was famous for, and being Catholic was one of them, as well as being a powerhouse for pro-abortion politics and the political party preferred by most Catholics.

Here is how the Catholic church buried him. Again, a strong political/spiritual message is sent to Catholic voters.

Was he publicly regifting a gift from the Pope?

Whether or not Obama regifted the rosary, Pope Francis regifted a gift from a Russian (arch)bishop to Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, so he is in no position to be offended by someone regifting one of his gifts.
