X..

it took until post 1,436 for some one to actually acknowledge that hat I posted was completely legitimate and correct instead of the insinuation, innuendo and inaccurate conclusions on a completely legitimate post I had made.

what is totally ironic is that if it weren’t for the Fair Use Exemption, which I claimed, in addition to having their permission to make the post Free Republic could not exist.

The excerpts that lead almost all new threads are made possible only because of the Fair Use Exemption. And irony of irony the exact same Daily mass reading had already been posted on FR that day - and nobody had an objection to it.

I want off your forum this is my third request.

You admin Moderator practices Alinsky tactics and then denies it on the open forum and then makes it so I cant rebut him/her.

I want to get off this forum I made a mistake donating the $250 maybe you could forward it to Clive Bundy.

LOL I think we all saw that coming a week ago.

I wasn't referring to the 'fair use issue' posts. You're a Catholic sourcing a Catholic doc that sits in the pew every Sunday, Catholics aren't the recording industry.

And irony of irony the exact same Daily mass reading had already been posted on FR that day - and nobody had an objection to it.

Most likely the nobody reads it. I don't think the guy razzing you for the fair use C&P cared about it, could be wrong, but as a way to keep you all worked up.

“...Catholics aren’t the recording industry.”

I think it is just the other way around - what is recorded in Scripture is exactly what we hear and exactly what I posted.

It wasn’t an example of what we could hear at mass or may hear at a mass - it was the exact words - read the exact way - of what we heard at mass that very day.

The whole point of my post, since some protestants were speculating on what is heard at mass: is that the entire mass not just the three daily scripture readings and every other word of the Catholic liturgy is printed for all to see so there need not be any speculating - plus I gave links to the actual daily scripture plus the actual words of the entire mass and got mocked for it.

She did mention, however, that perhaps you could better use your time doing embroidery. I’m not sure exactly why. Perhaps to calm your nerves. But that part wasn’t clear to me.

Can you throw something out with no real evident planning, and add things as you go along? changes.

My own idea on a contest would be direct testing of Biblical knowledge in good, representative samples.

Maybe which side makes the most personal attacks, protests unfairness and pings the mod the most, while seeing no anti-Prot bigotry? Seems there already is a wealth of data on this. And yet cannot get themselves zotted by the supposedly biased admin, even on request .

But as she pointed out, even preliminarily defining the right samples could be quite difficult.

"Preliminarily defining?" Since when are such details necessary as a preliminary?

You didn’t “receive” a comment, it was posted to all when the thread was closed. It was just a reason and it was valid.

Let it go.

Of course you didn’t make a comment - the thread was closed.

“Congratulations to Salvation and LurkingSince’98 for getting the thread locked by spamming the AR page.”

Possibly you could show me one instance on all of FreeRepulic history when you named and shamed any other freeper like that.

Just one instance - ever.

I would like to know where in the history of FR a poster was allowed to berate the management like Lurking has been doing and not be sent to the outer darkness.

wasn’t it you who accused me of repeating hearsay because I believed one of your fellow protestants who told me he heard more Scripture in a Catholic mass than in a protest services.

Yet if you are a protestant who claims there is more scripture in a protestant service but doesn’t go to any service on Sunday - wouldn’t that be hearsay?

Let's not change the subject. We are talking about you berating the Mods.

*Mods pinged out of courtesy since I did mention them.

I have it on authority (RM) after complaining about you and others mentioning me without pinging: “Pinging a Freeper who is being discussed is a matter of courtesy. You could either point that out directly on thread or send me a Freepmail.”

Since it is just a matter of courtesy and not considered abuse, which no one had mentioned before so I understand the difference.

that is still no reason for the display add at the top of the closed thread. I received plenty of mail, general consensus being NO ONE had ever seen or heard of anyone being singled out and named as the reason for closing a thread - if you know of any instances - post them.

otherwise this is my argument

so ping whoever you want.

I hear comments from protestants who don’t go to Sunday services all the time - except none will own up to it (’cept two who know who they are)

Yawn.

Let’s get back to you abusing the mods.

(Once again the mods are being pinged as a courtesy, nothing else.)
