Wow, rather testy aren't we. Your mind is an open book with your words and the hostility brimming forth, there is nothing to read hear other than your words. It is plain as day and night. And yet you try to read my mind by making me says things that I did not say or you want me to have said or deliberately misunderstand. Talk about hypocrisy. You could have asked questions in your first response to me if you felt that something need clarifying, you did not. You simply bared false witness against me. Others here have done a better job than me at articulating it, and yet they are meet with similar dismissal, lack of reasoning on your part, or just ignoring most of it and only latching on one point over and over again and still having your points picked apart. There is no hope for you as you are now.

And yes God can do what he wants, and he has done what he wants, hence scripture, hence the Church, hence the history that has gone along with it from the start. What he wants is Good. You are twisting my words once again. You could have asked what I meant by that to ensure you where not missing something but you didn't, not a surprise given how closed your mind is.

1 Corinthians 1:18-25 - Right back at you. Of course you need to ask yourself, who is being saved and why? What are they doing to be saved? They have to be doing something, that is intellect that God gave us demands that we ask. Of course all intellect, reason, and logic have to come from God himself otherwise it is so as it is written in this verse you quote. But you make the assumption that you are the authority to make that determination thus placing yourself above God. You are quite blind.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16 - "But we have the mind of Christ." Care to answer who has the mind of Christ? Care to answer what is required to have the mind of Christ? You quote scripture, but you certainly don't have the inclination to look to deep into its meaning do you?

2 Corinthians 2:15-16 - "Who is sufficient for these things" indeed. Would you care to answer that last line to yourself since you are the "authority" on this matter?

Well if works don't matter, then non of us are obligated to point out error in teachings as everyone here is trying to do with each other, i.e. its a meaningless gesture. It doesn't matter if you keep his commandments as he has commanded us to do. Right? Works don't matter according to you. But then again, looking out into the world where works don't matter, well we get what we have now as Jesus has warned us. And it's only going to get worse until people wake up.

And that's where the *church* is wrong. We are saved by grace through faith NOT OF WORKS. The church that teaches that is preaching a different, false gospel. If you love me you will keep my commandments as Jesus said. Its in Scripture. Deny this, and you deny HIM. Its the same as saying you do not believe that Jesus is God. You really are blind by a deep seated hate that I cannot relate to and I have had plenty of hate in my early years. I find that to be quite a sad state of affairs.
