The Trees of The Bible

Acts 5:30

The "Tree"

30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

Oh LORD, Our God,
How Blessed is Your Holy Name!
You Alone Are Worthy of Praise,
For You Alone Are The One True God.
Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent.
Inspire us, Oh Lord,
To Genuine Repentance.
Let us Look to You,
The Author and Finisher of Our Faith.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
The Apple of Your Eye,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

No Study of "Trees of the Bible" would be complete without this one. But why is the Roman Cross, used as a method of execution, referred to as a "Tree"? Deuteronomy 21 says:

Cursed is Anyone Hung on a Tree 22 "If a man has committed a sin worthy of death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree...

And Paul refers to this Torah passage in Galatians 3:

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us-- for it is written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE "--

Although the Ancient Romans had used crucifixion as a method of execution for a number of years, and had no intentions of being part of the fulfillment of Hebrew Scriptures, their Cross became the "Tree" of Deuteronomy.We never know the impact of our daily activities. Every Little Thing is part of a Much Larger Plan...Infinitely Larger Than Ourselves.
