Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

In this Apocalyptic vision, John of Patmos describes Earthquakes, Meteorites, Storms, Eclipses, and "Blood Moons". The simile he uses for the Meteor Shower is quite dramatic, as he describes a Fig Tree casting off its unripe fruit during a storm. A true disaster for the farmer who was waiting patiently for the fruit to ripen on the tree!

It is a tragedy when a life is cut off before it has had a chance to mature. Both Israel and the United States observe Memorial Day this Month. We remember those who gave their lives before being able to experience it in its fullness, in order to keep us free. Like unripe figs cast to the ground in a storm, these Precious Lives were lost, and not allowed to mature into the fruition of Old Age, Family, Careers, and contribution in the arts, science, industry, and creativity. We REMEMBER, and are grateful.

It took a minute for me to see the tree's profile. Amazing really.

If we could look at today's world with new eyes, how would it appear to us? Depending on where on the planet we are, it shows a drastically different face, and conditions. Let us be grateful, and thankful for America.

The trillions of dollars disappeared from our economy is showing us how blatant our officials are and have behaved, without explanation or shame.

God help America. God has blessed America richly, we seem to be turning away from our LORD in the name of political correctness. Forgive us Father, we know not what we do. Fill believers with the Holy Spirit and keep our feet on the path we are to walk, help us to tell all we meet of Thy power, salvation, and forgiveness, in Jesus name
