Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven
We Praise Your Holy Name!
Your Will be Done.
On Earth as it is in Heaven.
Teach us, LORD,,

Our Whole Mind,
And Our Strength..
May The Words of Our Mouth,
And the Meditations of Our Heart,
Be Acceptable To You,
Oh LORD, Our God, to Listen to You,
And Not to our own understanding.

We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

At Horeb, Moses was instructed to STRIKE the Rock, ONCE, and the water came gushing out. It was a miracle.

However, in this second instance, Moses is instructed to SPEAK to the Rock. The Complaining and Rebellion of the people had frustrated Moses so much that he Struck the rock, not once but twice. It was due to this anger, disobedience, and distrust of God that prevented Moses from ever setting foot in the Promised Land.

Moses also committed the same error that many of us do in our own era. He "Put God in a Box", and expected God to do his bidding according to a preconceived formula. (Hey...it worked before!). This is called, in Psychology, "Superstitious Behavior". It is expressly forbidden in Scripture, because it presumes control over Our Omnipotent Creator!

Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Christ died once for all, not twice.

This is slightly off-topic, but Help! I can’t remember who here went to Jerusalem and offered to put notes in the wall for us. I wanted to thank that person.

Another good point - not to put God in box, just because it worked before.

Amen, left that other site.

Lifting up Israel and our beloved America as well as all God’s people - especially those who are persecuted.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR
THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM!
And for the Preservation of the Valiant
Israeli Nation!

"Moses Drawing Water From The Rock"
Gioachino Assereto

"AND THE LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.

And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?

And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them."
