**advisers are hoping that he will take a break**
I’ll bet you there are quite a few FRoman Catholics hoping the same thing!

Abraham was advised by HIS people to take a break, get some deacons to do the work God had called Abraham to do (and he was doin' OK .. but men thought he wasn't)
As I recall .. THAT didn't turn out too well.

Personally, it seems the Vatican Translation Office is under more stress then the pope. Perhaps if he vacations they will recover...?

Is there precedence for this? Where is a sitting Pope to go for a vacation? Could he temporarily lay down the duties and the schedules of his office, handing them over to a team of his assistants? He may be too elderly to ski, but he might like fly fishing or hunting by the aid of a falcon.

He ought to just give his jawbone a rest. That’s the only thing that’s working 24//7.

Personally, it seems the Vatican Translation Office is under more stress then the pope. You mean the unofficial Internet Magisterium (UIM) "interpreting" the Interpreter.
