Is it happening now? It has nothing to do with what I think. Is it HAPPENING now? No, it isn’t.

Yes, He could. Now, IS HE? No, He IS NOT. It’s just that simple.
That would be Netanyahu’s shortcoming. The word of the Lord is clear enough, but sometimes His people don’t do what they are supposed to do. Kind of like Saul not destroying the Amalekites in spite of the clear instructions from the Lord (1 Samuel 15). If Israel today is afraid of the Arab world, and the world in general, that is lack of faith in the Lord. But after Saul came David, a man after God’s heart. I pray that after Netanyahu will come a man who will put his trust in the Lord of his forefathers and reclaim the land.
