COPENHAGEN, Denmark, June 11, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Catholic Bishop of Copenhagen, Czeslaw Kozon, says he is worried that the Catholic Church in Denmark may be forced to perform “marriage” ceremonies for homosexual couples in the future.
Bishop Czeslaw Kozon of Copenhagen Politicians in Denmark have voted to force churches in the established Evangelical Lutheran Church to perform same-sex “marriage” ceremonies inside their sanctuaries.
Since 1997, when same-sex “marriage” was legalized, homosexuals have been able to get “married” in a blessing ceremony after the normal church service, but now the unions will be part of the service as they are with heterosexual couples. The law takes effect June 15.

Yes, clearly the homosexuals want to force churches to perform homosexual marriages.
In this country, I predict lawsuits will happen, if churches refuse to go along.
The Lutheran Church is the state church, so probably the state has more control over it. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if they attempted to use this to pressure the Catholic Church. At least this bishop seems aware of it.

According to the headline, priests are now required to unionize, so if they don’t want to perform same sex marriages, they can go on strike.
Almost all protestant denominations will cave -- if they haven't already -- and many liberal catholics will cave (but they won't be Catholics any more). The true Catholic Church will never comply with orders originating with the devil.

I have been saying this since I first came across the sodomite propaganda in the early eighties. If not embracing and accepting homosexuality makes you a bigot, then John Paul II and Billy Graham are bigots; everything else follows.

the Catholic church will not marry a hetrosexual couple unless they declare that their sexual relations will take no steps to prevent conception....if either party is incapable of reproducing, a valid marriage is not possible.A homosexual couple, by definition, cannot reproduce.

That is not correct. Women past menopause can validly participate in the Sacrament of Matrimony.

I will never perform a same-sex marriage. The Church will just get out of the civil marriage business. You want to get married in the Catholic Church? Have the Church wedding and then go visit your local justice of the peace or any other authorized person.
