Citing concerns about discrimination, more colleges are declaring that they will no longer recognize Christian groups, especially evangelical groups, as official student organizations.
The trend is driven by the universities desire to rid their campuses of bias, particularly against gays and lesbians, according to The New York Times. In addition, the student organizations requirement that leaders be Christian has led to accusations of discrimination against non-Christians.
Colleges and Evangelicals Collide on Bias Policy (The New York Times)
Christian groups that oppose perversion, not OK.
The left wing bias is still OK though evidently.
Christians had better unite to take their country back from these militant perverts. It wouldn’t surprise me if Islamic groups are behind this, threatening to withhold funding from colleges which allow Christian groups.
Human beings have an innate need for a religious belief system. Very few people percentage wise are comfortable with Atheism and Agnosticism. By killing off the major religion of the west, Christianity, the Muslims KNOW they are creating a fertile seed-bed for Islam.
Further, the mainstream Christian religions, primarily Anglicism/Episcopalianism, Methodism and Presbyterianism, have waffled on the Biblical prohibitions on homosexuality. These radical groups have been encouraged by their defections and hope they pry other Christian groups from their core principles, as the entire moral edifice of Christianity will then collapse.
And by doing so opens the university up to violation of civil rights violations lawsuits. Hope they have a large endowment.
Are the university dweebs going to pronounce a “Fatwa” against Muslim organizations, too? They are more vehemently against the sodomite lifestyle.
Somehow I think they won’t...
No one should donate to alumni fund drives. This is typical of what the money enables.
. . . .and so it begins . . .
To accommodate the 3% deviants they must oppress the 90% Christians.
When do we start an actual shooting civil war.
If they can’t exclude homosexual groups, then they shouldn’t be able to exclude Christian groups. etc.
I wonder if this will be Supreme Court bound?
I suspect this attitude will all end when entitlements end, and the country has nothing to offer from the WH. It will just be too late to keep the doors open and pay the radical professors.
Given the anti-God attitude , it is way past the time that Christian groups start to refuse to recognize some of these secular institutions.
Remember that FR slogan that said something like “Guns defend against tyranny.”
Well, tyranny is here.
Only college "educated" libtards could believe that banishing Christian groups is not in itself biased.
Christians need to vote with their feet.
Can you say: “RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS IS ALIVE AND WELL IN THE USA?”
I do not know why any Christian would want to go to a liberal arts college in the first place.
We can preach against prostitution but going to a whore house and paying the tuition is a bad way to do it.
“Christians need to vote with their feet.”
NO and HECK NO.
Need to fight these people the same way they have gotten this far.
Sue them; call them intolerant, etc. We cant just hand over huge chunks of our culture and nation to them.
Christian organizations require that their members be Christians? Horrible! The Christians should sue.
