I initially never had a cow, it was your reaction to me that was very weird.

Biblically uneducated Christians are buying into the whole global warming fiasco...   ... it's just another lie from the pit of hell.

My experience is that education (biblical or otherwise) has nothing to do with it, and I've been unable to get around the fact that this global warming song'n'dance is a profoundly evil insidious spiritual poison.  We can find people who really know the Bible --can quote it and discuss it with far more familiarity than you or I could ever hope to --and yet they still choose to adhere to the GW shtick.   Same with science education, it wouldn't be hard to find someone with a flippin' PhD in climatology who's also a devout g'warmer.

Brains are funny that way, there's a lot to 'em.

What really baffles me is that it's also possible to find genuinely good people, folks that you and I would consider saints, that at the same time can buy into GW and when we try to talk to them about real life stuff like thermometers and air molecules these otherwise kind and gentle good people suddenly turn vile and attack personally with mindless viciousness.

Spirits are much harder to understand than brains --for me at least.

Not so,

It comes down to either being filled with the Spirit of God and thus His wisdom or not.

It is impossible to fool a mind of God, whether in be in a human head or God’s.

Wisdom comes from understanding God, you get that from educating yourself on the truth of God’s Word.

If a man is full of wisdom, he can only be fooled until he learns the facts. Once the facts are given, and the person prays for understanding, the Father promises us He will not lead us into accepting a lie. The Spirit of God will lead you to the truth. Always has, and always will.

So if a Christian believes in lies, and after the truth is given to them, they are not of God’s. because God does not lie.

Satan is the father of lies, God is the father of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom.

Lies are just a matter of confusing the facts, and God is NOT the God of confusion, so there is no way a man, or woman, of God can be confused if they are truly following God and asking from their heart for wisdom to see the truth.

Now my words, God’s. he never ever leads his sheep astray.

Either you believe Him or you don’t.

The second to last sentence is supposed to say,

"NOT" my word's,God's. he never ever leads his sheep astray.

Sorry I did not mean to write

"Now" my words, God's. he never ever leads his sheep astray.

Most of us still struggle with sin. Must be nice not to.

Where did I ever say I do not struggle with sin?

What I stated was in the context of the conversation we were having over Christians buying into Global Warming and especially Christian teachers buying into heretical lies.

Yes, Global Warming is a heretical lie, because it claims we are God, by declaring that we can destroy the planet.

We can detonate every nuclear bomb every country on the planet owns all that the same time and we will not destroy the planet. To believe so is to call God a liar, because He and He alone controls when our time is up.

I do struggle with sin, it’s just that I know when i sin the moment I do it. That is called the Holy Spirit, and my guilt drives me to my knees every time.

Believing and teaching your flock that Global Warming exists, and not being convicted by the Holy Spirit that you are wrong, tells me a lot about their walk with God.

“Believing and teaching your flock that Global Warming exists, and not being convicted by the Holy Spirit that you are wrong, tells me a lot about their walk with God.”

A) I’ve never been in a church where the pastor preaches on Global Warming.

B) If I ever visit one, I won’t stay long.

C) That does not mean a good pastor might not believe in global warming. GW exists (or not) in the realm of science, not theology. And frankly, being a Christian does not prevent me from lying to myself about what is good behavior, either. The Holy Spirit will eventually convict me of sins, but He sometimes has to kick my butt first...

Still, as a Christian, I don’t necessarily know the truth about questions like, “Is coffee good for you or bad?” (Hopefully good, since I’m drinking another cup right now). I have also never prayed my way to the correct answer to a math question, nor been convicted by the Holy Spirit about my wrong answer before I turned in the test. A devout Christian still has to wrestle with the flesh, and that is on moral matters. On matters of science or knowledge, the Holy Spirit rarely gives me any divine answers.

Not really, there are plenty of times I don't struggle w/ sin and it's not all that nice --but you're probably talking about how it must be nice not to need to.

So any way my thinking is that we all got good sides 'n bad sides and some got more of one than the other and there really are some people who've got so many good sides they could beat us all hollow, but let's say the only bad side we can see is they swallow the stupid gw pill.  Seems we can't really pick and choose say that an ideological blind spot is a deal breaker.

Just one suggestion, dear. You’re showing the whole cross, the symbol of our sins being washed away by the sacrifice of the
Son of God. But there is only a portion of the Flag. Perhaps you could show the entire flag as well.

It does not have to be huge.

I have yet to meet a truly good Christian who believed in Global Warming that I could not use Biblical knowledge on to get them to question it. Soon it was but a matter of time before everyone came to me and admitted it was crap.

I have met some Christians I could not convince, but when it came down to it they had a lot other troubling beliefs that kept them from truly being enlightened. Before I can get them to understand that Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Obama, Hollywood, and the education system was off, I needed to get them to understand simpler truths of God’s word.

Sometimes it is difficult to convince a person willing to live in the world of ignorance that something as complicated as Al Gore being evil is a fact.

Or, another example would be a well educated person who attends church on a weekly basis, and has yet to see that speaking in tongues in front of a bunch of people who already speak the same language as him is just bad theology.

It’s not difficult to learn if one truly wants to know. It goes hand in hand with wanting to know the truth on Biblical matters.

I readily agree that there are Christians who are of simpler minds. Those I leave in God’s hands, because they will struggle with simple matters. However those you know to be of a mind to want to know the truth of things given a chance, is a different matter.

Global Warming is not a highly scientific matter that only the highly educated can understand. Truth is, the higher the education, the harder it is for them to suspend man’s knowledge to see god’s knowledge.

Evolution vs Creationism is a perfect example. The more a person has been educated by the world’s knowledge, with no discernible wisdom, the more difficult it is to reach them. Many a person has been educated beyond their intelligence because they do not have God’s wisdom, just look at the US Supreme Court. They refuse to acknowledge God, so they are but fools with some rudimentary knowledge from man’s universities.

As for pastors who read the bible, and still but into Global Warming, May I introduce Benny Hinn, or Joel Osteen, T.D. Jakes, etc. etc. etc. These heretics read the Bible but they never ever have had a relationship with the author.

I even met a young man who was trained in the church I went to and his uncle is the pastor, yet he voted for Al Gore. Get this. His uncle spoke out against Obama and his idiocy many tomes when it was appropriate for the Scripture he was teaching on. Yet his own nephew, who was a worship leader, still did not get it. He is intelligent, yet he obviously never gained the wisdom of God. Educated in school and on the Bible, yet it was all beyond his intelligence because he questioned some fundamentals of god’s precepts his own uncle taught.

Knowing the answer to a math problem if you are not building a bridge is not as needed for you, but become an engineer and God will make you study a little harder to get the answer. God doesn’t just give you the answers in life, He leads you to the place you can get it, then He give you the desire to find it.

As I said, if a man of God truly wants the truth, God will lead him to find it from where he will find it. God never made it easy for us, we had to desire it. If a man does not pray for the truth to be revealed on matters as important as the teachings of environmentalism, then i question their relationship with God because we are talking about who you worship, God or His creation.

Remember, god does not want lazy Christians, and he never ever wants teachers to be wrong or blind. That is why Paul tells us that not many of us should desire to be teachers, because the rule of judgement will be much much stiffer for us.

As for sinning, we all struggle, and it is just a matter of our maturity level as to what level our sin is at still. The longer a person walks with Christ, the smaller our sins are, even if we personally feel they are grave.

New Christians struggle with many sins from cussing to drugs, heavy drinking, hate, and even fornication, but if you have been walking with Christ for 10 years and still struggle with the worse of sins as you did a new born Christian, then it is time to look at what kind of relationship you have with Christ.

Most Christians I know who have walked with Christ for a long time struggle more with small sins outwardly, but inwardly they struggle more with sins of the mind. I think that is a reflection of the world we live in and the temptation in our eyes every time we turn around.

Real Christians do care about the animals and the planet, it's just that we don't worship the creation, we worship the Creator.

Indeed. Thank you for this insightful essay!
