The bible PLAINILY says it's PAUL that won't allow women to teach: NOT Christ!!

Pssst Paul was writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

It's in the Bible so it must be correct.

LOL!

Christ had men as apostles. Isn’t that enough truth for you? Why don’t you believe Christ and follow him?

The new moon day is tomorrow and will be the first day of His third month

How do you write that on checks?

Teachings that contradict Biblical truths are rejected. Practices that are forbidden are rejected. Links back to the ancient churches are cherished. Not on Mary....the RCC says she is sinless in contradiction to the Bible. I don't believe Mary was sinless. What's your point again?

I don't believe she was sinless either. However, the RCC teaches that she was.

The Bible, if one reads it, will substantiate that she was a sinner and in need of salvation like the rest of us.

You KNOW you are supposed to LEAD with the cereal!

This is what happens when you try to post your own thoughts in a thread first...

TRoo bad he must have QUIT listening; because YOUR leaders felt an urge to add MORE doctrine than needed.

Because I'm not yet finished beating my wife; silly!

John 6:28-29

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

However, the RCC teaches that she was.

It teachs that she was asexual as well.

Nice dodge, but women still are not allowed to preach, according to the Bible. You guys still have that rule in your church right?

(That's just it, Verga! When you live in the realm of pure spiritual abstractions, as some, you don't even have a checkbook! You don't have a modern-day calendar! You don't a digital cell-phone calendar! You don't call up your friend or relative and say, "Hey, we're arriving on Thursday" -- because, by god, who would dare honor the pagan god "Thor" and his "day" by actually referencing "Thor's day" out loud?)

The only thing I can think of is that it takes you a long while to explain what day of the week or month things happen on.

“Here comes Joe, oh please please let it not be about how the little league tourney schedule is from the pits of popery...”

Freegards from the blasphemous Paganistan calendar of Poperistism

"Amazing Grace"

In a church yard in Olney, England, the composer of this great hymn of faith was laid to rest.

On his stone, this inscription:

John Newton, clerk, once an infidel and libertine, a servant of slaves in Africa, was,
by the rich mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, preserved, restored, pardoned,
and appointed to preach the faith he had long labored to destroy.

He was ordained an Angilcan priest - an evangelical Christian

By those tokens, why do you, a woman, take it upon yourself to attempt to "teach" a man?

When will you follow Christ in this yourself, and not put yourself forward as a teacher of the things of God?

What did Paul say concerning this? (I ask that rhetorically -- not seeking answer from you, lest you then be led to sin yet further)

**take it upon yourself to attempt to “teach” a man?**

Because I believe that I know more about Catholicism than some men.

1 Cor 14:34-35 “As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church”Seeing as she is not teaching in the Church she is perfectly within her right. Second Are you going to make this same comment to the non-Catholic women on these threads? Third as a Catholic She also know that the first precept of the Catholic Church according to St. Thomas Aquinas in the Summa is to instruct/ inform the ignorant.
