Further the popes haven’t been silent on their beliefs muslims can be saved because they worship the same God - a lie.

We don’t believe in the same God. In a prior post this week I outlined several, not all, differences between the false god allah and the Triune God of the Bible.
If your popes can be confused to the point they believe allah and the Almighty God of all, are the same, they certainly can believe other false things about muslims.
