A month or two ago news broke that Obama’s HHS was calling for private contractors to help transport illegal aliens throughout the interior United States. What made this already big news even bigger is the fact that the original call for proposals came out in January, long before the bulk of the illegal alien surge began.
The breaking news you’re about to read is ten times bigger, because the following proves the Obama administration was bankrolling America’s churches back in 2010. And the tens of millions were flowing in to prepare for the invasion currently underway.
The following is a small taste of what’s out there in grant records. This is just the tip of the iceberg, folks.
Between Dec 2010 and Nov 2013, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Galveston received $15,549,078 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Project” with a program description of “Refugee and Entry Assistance.”
Last year, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth received $350,000 from Department of Homeland Security for “citizenship and education training” with a program description of “citizenship and immigration services.”
Between September 2010 and September 2013, the Catholic Charities of Dallas received $823,658 from the Department of Homeland Security for “Citizenship Education Training” for “refugee and entrant assistance.”
From Dec 2012 to January 2014, Baptist Child & Family Services received $62,111,126 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Program.”
All that money from the feds… from our taxes. What could go wrong?

I may be wrong, but I believe that Homeland Security and Health and Human Services are two distinct an unrelated agencies.
But it does underscore the fact that Obama's "fundamentally transformed America" has waaayyy too many agencies which exist for the sole purpose of spending as much of working taxpayer money as the populace will tolerate.

As you probably know, I attend a Maronite (Eastern Catholic) Church. The See is in Lebanon and the parish is very aware and sensitive to the plight of christians in the Middle East. We had a RC visitor one Sunday who shared our concerns. He mentioned that Catholic Charities in Albany was supplying outreach by providing transportation, food and shelter. Elated to hear this, I asked for a local contact, suggesting that these immigrants would enjoy hearing the gospel in their own language. He said it wouldn't matter since Catholic Charities was assisting muslim immigrants!!! I was shocked. Your comment on this thread clarifies the situation. Again, thank you for repeating it for my benefit.
Good point. This produce passes through multiple hands before it arrives on supermarket shelves. Try convincing busy consumers on limited budgets to read the labels on each item before making their selections. It's a noble cause that will be ignored by most Americans.

Whether it is a big backfire depends on what you believe his ultimate goal is. If you believe it is to get the republicans to move on providing amnesty for illegals, it is a big backfire fail. But if his ultimate goal is to open the borders and allow as many illegal aliens, drugs, cartel gang members, red Chinese and jihadis into this country as possible, he has been tremendously successful.
Why do we have to go through TSA searches when all the illegals and arabs have to do is get on the plane with a piece of paper or walk across our southern border.

Yes we did and while we're at it, we also got to send our fruits & veggies South at the same time.
Most of what you see at the grocery stores comes from some other place and that is a fact that has nothing to do with water shortage.
Stopping by Gilroy, CA every year for 20+ years, I still see plenty of produce and when asking where much of their produce would be ending up, was told it was going "off shore" as much was too expensive for Mexico!
So, as you can suspect by now, most of what we gain from our land is never consumed here, it's consumed elsewhere, so if you are looking to get some safe green onions to use in your salad from your local grocery store, you're out of luck, "water issues "or no, it's because the only "fresh" green onions in your neck of the woods would be coming from Mexico (I did get that clarified, peaches from Chile, green onions from Mexico! Not a one to be had from the U.S.

This country has undergone a Bolshevik revolution, and most don’t even see it. In 1917 the communists gained control of a few cities (as communication as well as population centers); the Obamunists have done the same here with the cities and media. Obama is widely disliked, but that won’t be reported; only a small number of perpetual ethnic malcontents and some VERY wealthy liberals are supporting him. His war on religion, families, and the middle class is very real.
