Ecumenical rules — basically — if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

No antagonism.

It's a strange lot here at FreeRepublic these days. I personally don't think we need a hall mono pitot to keep things decent, I would hope people would respect the Pope and his words. He may not be the conservative many here want, but he's a good and caring man.

we get angry here when Muslims refuse to allow Christians to worship freely....we get angry when Obama goes off on Israel.....so as someone mentioned a little ways up...I'd hope there'd be the courtesy to allow someone to post the Pope's words without disparaging them.

I'd hope.
