Catholics give a lot of weight to Apostolic Succession (the authority that Jesus gave to Peter to forgive sins is transferred to the Popes).
On one hand, I cannot participate in a church that has chosen to separate dogma from the Bible to accomodate liberalism.
On the other hand, I cannot go to confess my sins to a priest who lacks the “chain of command” back to Peter.
Episcopalians here in the U.S.A. accept homosexual unions. I WON'T say the "M" word, I WON'T.
