Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven,
We Praise Your Holy Name!
You Alone Are Worthy of Worship,
For You Alone Are The One True God.
Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent,
Teach us To Be Seek Your Face,
And Teach Us To Consider giving Glory to You instead of looking to ourselves.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

ML/LTOS

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

From Ancient Times, the Profession of Rabbi has been primarily that of a Teacher of The Torah. Learned in the Languages of the Text, History, and Centuries of Commentaries, The Rabbi shares his insights with his disciples, and sometimes writes commentaries of his own. His disciples are very loyal, and often form a community around their Beloved Teacher.

The term "Rabboni", used here by Mary Magdalene, suggests this close relationship of Discipleship. It is a higher form of the term, and not only means "Beloved Teacher", but "Master" and "Mentor" as well.

Considering that this was the First Century, it is interesting that The Disciple who was the First to recognize the Resurrected Teacher was a WOMAN! This was revolutionary and flies in the face of feminists who claim that the Judeo-Christian Tradition is "sexist and patriarchal".

As a woman, I LOVE when that happens! -)

Come and Pray For Your Prayers For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen
