Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
"Why", Bible Students and Religious People might ask, "Does God Harden Pharaoh's Heart? Why doesn't He just RESCUE the people? Why are there Pharaohs and Hamans and Hitlers in the World? Why wouldn't Pharaoh just let the People go, and thus SAVE his own Nation?" This question bothered Cecil B DeMille so much that a character was created (Nefertiri, the Jealous Queen) to explain the hardening of Pharaoh's heart.
Though I am not a scholar, I suggest that God GAVE us His reason in the lines of Scripture. The Pharaoh could attempt to explain away nearly all of the plagues by citing an over-bloom of red algae, which killed the fish, which expelled the frogs from the river, which attracted gnats, flies, skin diseases and cattle sickness. The darkness could have been some kind of weird eclipse. The hail and the locusts...well that happens too sometimes. But the last plague was so horrible that it could ONLY have come from an Almighty that put his own "gods" to eternal shame.
The Hebrews, too, had to know that this was the Hand of God, not their own doing, or even the work of Moses.
Oddly enough, even to this day, the History Channel and Hollywood are replete with programs that try to explain away the Miracles of the Exodus by citing the Santorini Volcano, Red Tide, Locust Swarm Cycles, Global Warming, a Mini-Ice Age, or Drought Conditions.
But there is no way they can explain away THIS one.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.
Hallelujah and Amen

Our Father who [art] in the heavens! hallowed be Thy name. Thy reign come: Thy will come to pass, as in heaven also on the earth. Our appointed bread give us to-day. And forgive us our debts, as also we forgive our debtors. And mayest Thou not lead us to temptation, but deliver us from the evil, because Thine is the reign, and the power, and the glory — to the ages. Amen. Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem, for our dear families and friends, for our suffering and persecuted, for our Nations.
