   Did I miss anyone? So far, all of the above still add up to less than a majority of self-professed Christians.

The LDS church is a big contributor to the Boy Scouts of America, with more young Mormon boys becoming Scouts than the population as a whole. They could have stopped the BSA from permitting boys who claim to be perverts from being or remaining members. Under pressure, the LDS hierarchy will cave, as will many Catholic bishops and evangelical pastors.

It is a tough thing not to cave particularly if you have assets which the ACLU or other quasi-government sponsored terrorist groups can go after. But I hope you are wrong.

There are ways for churches to survive without the IRS tax exemption such as organizing their charitable, ecclesiastical and other main activities into separate corporations.
