Active membership vs. ghost membership.
The LDS register every Scouting age boy listed on the church rolls, regardless of church or unit attendance/participation. The BSA gets lots of “free” money from the LDS.
The LDS had the potential to wield great influence in the membership policy change a couple of years back...instead, the mormon BSA president travelled to SLC and exerted some kind of influence to convince the hierarchy of the LDS to not resist the membership policy change that allowed open and avowed homosexuals to join Scouting.
Did I miss anyone?

I’m hopeful that the Missouri Synod will soon pass the ELCA as the largest Lutheran denomination. I wasn’t aware they had made a clear statement, so good to hear.
The Evangelical Presbyterian Church grieves today’s ruling of the Supreme Court, which illustrates the continued disregard for the biblical, traditional, Judeo-Christian values upon which the foundation of our nation was established. As a church, we continue to rest our faith in the sovereign God and the authority of His Holy Word. We pray faithfully for our nation and our leaders as so commanded by Scripture.
We bear no malice toward those with a same-sex attraction; in fact, we love them with the love of Christ. However, as a church we must adhere to the biblical definition of marriage, rather than a cultural one.
We recognize that civil governments adopt policies that do not align with biblical values. However, those policies must never require that people of faith abandon the clear teaching of Scripture, forfeit the right to proclaim those truths, or change their beliefs or practices.
Under pressure, the LDS hierarchy will cave, as will many Catholic bishops and evangelical pastors.
I do believe this will come to pass, though how prevalent obviously remains to be seen...at any rate, church leaders must be aware of renegade priests and pastors looking to make social statements, and then make the choice; punish or accept their dissidence...
I suspect the LDS will fling open the doors to polygamy when/if the SC rules such “unions” legal.
Grace Chapels are typically viewed as independent, but their messages on this topic have been quite consistent.

Thanks to all of you and anyone I might have missed for lengthening the still too short list of churches standing up toe the GAYstapo establishment.
The short list indicates that the infiltration of the churches is cause for great concern.

As you state, it may also be a good idea to separate the primary assets of churches, which is real estate, from the governance of the church per se. There is some historical precedence for this. In the early days of the Catholic Church in America, the deeds to church properties were held by parish trustees separately from the diocese. This may have due to residual anti-Catholicism in the common law of several states, based on English precedent. If a local Baptist or independent congregation or a Catholic diocese were to not engage in marriage of perverts, and were prosecuted by Feds, or, in the Northeast, Great Lakes, or West Coast states, by the states on civil rights violations, the only assets they could seize would be the operating cash.
It is a sad situation, but Christians need to take defensive measures to protect their assets from civil or criminal forfeiture.
