The following sourced quotations are particularly useful, as many apologists like to commit the logical fallacy of appealing to authority by using very often out-of-context or false quotes attributed to various noteworthy non-Muslim individuals, in an attempt to propagate their faith.

They are quotes not supportive of Islam.
de Tocqueville:
“its social and political tendencies are in my opinion more to be feared, and I therefore regard it as a form of decadence rather than a form of progress”
So is mine :-)
Uhm, what? Been drinking today?
I have a question - would the Founders who wrote the constitution consider Islam a religion - a religion that commands that infidels be killed, etc -, given that in the first amendment they said that...
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...”
If not, then how should religion be defined so that it would exclude islam and 1+ billion people?
No silly, that’s my notable quote to muslims :-)
Quotes about Christianity by Adolph Hitler (to all those that say Hitler was a Christian):
“You see, it’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn’t we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion [Islam] too would have been more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?[5]”
“The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death. ...”
Im with you there, pardner.
You’re welcome. I spent quite a while reading the whole page. Fascinating Insights from some very prominent historical figures.
No drink here FRiend, it was my quote to muslims, I will preface that next time :-)
islam has no respect for human life. These DMFers actually follow their prophets footsteps in murder, rape, mayhem and torture. They then think some POS named allah will give them eternity with virgins.
Fooking retards is all they are.
This is selected from a longer quote in which Twain was pointing out that everyone thinks their adversary is insane. To continue:
"When a thoughtful and unblessed Mohammedan examines the Westminster Catechism, he knows that beyond any question I am spiritually insane. I cannot prove to him that he is insane, because you never can prove anything to a lunatic - for that is a part of his insanity and the evidence of it. He cannot prove to me that I am insane, for my mind has the same defect that afflicts his. All Democrats are insane, but not one of them knows it; none but the Republicans and Mugwumps know it. All the Republicans are insane, but only the Democrats and Mugwumps can perceive it. The rule is perfect: in all matters of opinion our adversaries are insane."
Mark Twain also called Theodore Roosevelt insane:
"I think the President is clearly insane in several ways, and insanest upon war and its supreme glories. I think he longs for a big war wherein he can spectacularly perform as chief general and chief admiral, and go down to history as the only monarch of modern times that has served both offices at the same time."
The founders had in mind “religion” as the various Christian denominations.
That’s why liberals and revisionist historians fail each time they open their pie holes about “freedom of religion.”
I do believe the founders made exception for Judaism. There clear references to “Judaeo Christian” is evident.
” The founders had in mind âreligionâ as the various Christian denominations.”
I tend to agree - I don’t think they were contemplating muslims ever becoming part of America. In which case the first amendment needs some rethinking.
The essence of a nation are its values, its predominant “world view “. It cannot peacefully coexist with an opposing value system within its borders.
With multiculturalism and “diversity” our country is now adrift and will quickly dissolve into a set of warring tribes unless a strong leader comes along to restore a dominant set of value and banishes opposing ones.
That is a very difficult task.
Indeed.
