Why is it I always see my grammar and spelling mistakes AFTER I hit the post button? :>)

God does care who wins a football game.

Sheesh...as if Alabama fans heads aren’t swelled enough.LOL

j/k

Henry’s speech was a class act. I HOPE he maintains it throughout his coming NFL career. I think he will. I hope he will.

I’ve always been able to talk myself into and out of opinions of whether or not God cares about outcomes of sporting events. Part of me thinks that He likes a fair game just like everyone else. Another part of me says He could be using outcomes for other purposes. Whatever.

Regarding this young man praying, I’m all for it.

I believe that the Patriots winning is a fulfillment of Jeremiah 12:1...

After my posts to you, then followed by last weekend's televised Osteen sermon/self help seminar, I felt I should tell you I had finally heard one to support your opinion.

I do find something of value in almost all of the sermons I've heard, but not that one.

If that was the sermon you heard, or one like it, I don't blame you for your Osteen opinions.

I didn't make it all the to the end when he gives the audience an opportunity to pray to Jesus, so I don't know if he mentioned Jesus by name prior to that or not.

Every batter strikes out once in a while and, to me, he whiffed at balls not even thrown in that sermon, but for me and where I am with things, he normally hits more than he misses and he's helpful.

Thanks GBA. That’s Christian honesty you’re applying and it warms my heart.

Like I said, I’ve read a number of his brief devotionals that are right on target.
