I do find something of value in almost all of the sermons I've heard, but not that one.
If that was the sermon you heard, or one like it, I don't blame you for your Osteen opinions.
I didn't make it all the to the end when he gives the audience an opportunity to pray to Jesus, so I don't know if he mentioned Jesus by name prior to that or not.
Every batter strikes out once in a while and, to me, he whiffed at balls not even thrown in that sermon, but for me and where I am with things, he normally hits more than he misses and he's helpful.

Like I said, I’ve read a number of his brief devotionals that are right on target.
