The words “women’s health care” now mean “kill the baby”, so, yes.
There is a difference between health care and health insurance.
As with many institutions, THE LEFT has figured out that throwing rocks at churches is not the way to take control of them.
Rather you get in on the inside, and then do your stuff. In their case, they ‘act’ religious (probably getting stoned before services, though) and build up some level of trust. If they learn the Bible (Mein Kampf to them, but it’s required), then they can move into leadership and start spreading ‘their’ gospel.
It takes an INFORMED flock to fight them and rout them out. And these people have to be willing to engage in HARD BALL with this bunch (think Trump).
Keeping control of churches is NOT a given - there are people out there willing, trying, and often succeeding in taking away that control.
If healthcare is a life issue, then the question is this:
Which system is more pro-life?
A. A system where the bureaucrats decide who does and does not get healthcare? and how much and what kind of healthcare?
or
B. A system in which the bureaucrat has no power. The healthcare patient has all the power ... except that which is voluntarily delegated to family, clergyman or doctor?
Long essays and PHD thesis could then examine the facts of those two questions.
Those studies have already been done. B is more pro-life.
GOOD POINT!
These liberals are the same people who have put through legislation in Oregon so that elderly or terminally ill people can take their own life.
PLEASE TELL ME .. WHAT THE HELL IS PRO-LIFE ABOUT THAT ..??
Being Catholic, or any other religion, doesn’t make one Biblical/moral/conservative/right....
Moses’ final words to the people were “Choose life.” Choose a life free from sin; one that keeps God as its center.
The decades of bad catechesis is now bearing fruit in our society.
