I gave up a long time ago trying to figure out whether this pope was being misquoted, taken out of context, or was saying stuff that Catholics ought to be concerned about.
Early on, I think he was being misquoted and taken out of context. And I still don’t know. I figure it’s a Catholic problem. Let then figure it out.
