This month, hundreds of Christians at a South Carolina megachurch can request a refund on all the money theyve given since March.
NewSpring Church, led by pastor Perry Noble, is one of hundreds of congregations across the country that have offered 90-day tithing challenges.
Participants sign up with a commitment to give 10 percent of their income or more, and if God doesnt hold true to his promises of blessings after three months, they can request their money backno questions asked. Its the churchs version of satisfaction guaranteed.

So you can bribe God?
Generally speaking The YBPDLN Ping List is published infrequently, however based on the exploits of the megachurch pastors posts can spike for a season.
Management will not ping members to every thread addressing megachurch pastors, but will tag articles of interest with the KEYWORD: YBPDLN.
If you would like on or off of this list please FReepmail me.

A bad idea; trivializes Christianity. Jesus Christ works every time He is tried, but there may be financial shortfalls all the time.
I kindda fiqure God's blessing is the forgiveness of sin though faith in His Son Jesus.
But what do I know...
What if you want to tithe to some other Christian organization under this 90-day challenge? Will NewSpring still refund your money since they are the ones guaranteeing that God will act to bless the givers within the 90-day period?
No, but you can test Him in this case. In fact, He invites it.
Read Malachi 3:10
Probably covered in the fine print.
That is hillarious. Did you know that Tithing is not in the New Testament . Jesus hated the Temple tax. We saw it at Capernaum at Matt.17:24 and then it precipitated the crucifixion 24 hours after Jesus threw the money collectors out of God’s house in Jerusalem. God owns everything, right? You can’t “give God that which is His already. These guys are what I call “ Professional Christians” defined as anyone who takes for their own use money in the name of “god” . These people live a lie.
The good old prosperity gospel.
I’m sure the Christians in Rome, that were used as human torches by Nero, were thinking of the riches coming to them before being impaled and burned on pikes.
That was a Temple Tax, not a tithe.
He loved the widow who gave what she had.
At worst, the church gets interest-free loans.
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.
Except he was speaking to them regarding the present Temple, which was where “God lived”.
The New Testament takes a little different approach to God.
Yes, it's quite the shell game they have going on.
Another point made about the tithes instituted by God for the Israelites is that the tithe was never money. It was always agricultural products and livestock. If an Israelite had too long a journey going up to Jerusalem for a prescribed feast, he was sell the livestock for money, then purchase a replacement offering when he got to Jerusalem (not hand over the money). The tithes going into the storehouse described in Malachi also were not in monetary form.
But what do I know...

There you go! Prophesying again! ;-)
I wonder if the Latvian Orthodox church has a scheme like this?
What we have today is not the early church. It is barely discernible.
Apparently, God has gotten into the ‘same day loan’ business in these churches.
