I don’t know why JD keeps saying the United States is not mentioned in prophecy. MANY countries are not mentioned. We are included in the aggregate, but so are they. I don’t know how he can conclude that it means one of two things will happen: either the Rapture or the destruction of our country.
All it proves is that we will not come to the rescue of Israel.
Of course there are other reasons to expect both of those things.
Besides, we could be the young lions of Tarsus. I.e., the children of England. JD himself has referred to this.

He's blind, that's why. The whole of the Redemption hinges on America being in Bible prophecy. Even the well-known name of the US government (Uncle Sam) is indictative of the battles waged in high places.

This isn't absence; it's blindness. He can't find America in Bible prophecy, so she must not be there. After setting up his false premise, he goes on about what would explain this so-called absence. Destruction, or... the Rapture! Yeah, that's the ticket... A revival, then a Rapture... "It would gut out this great nation!" Lies built upon lies, that's how these wolves do it. He sets up the false premise, then rolls along with his amazing conclusion. Millions of Christians along with the Holy Spirit, gone. Millions? You'd need a BROAD ROAD to fit them all, hello.
Preached on the anniversary of 911 no less. Did he not see the double ash heap of the World Trade Center towers, the double symbol of world commerce (what the world produces is what it trades - its fruit)?
He must be reporting from the heart of spiritual Egypt then. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Joseph is still alive, and he is a parable over all of Egypt (mashal = governor, parable). The one who governs is who is the representative head; a parable is an allegory - one thing that represents, symbolizes another.
Egypt aka the house of bondage. That's a good description of the mindset of the End Times prophecy teachers. They are in bondage to their own doctrines. No life there; no air. Bread made with dead leaven. Baked bricks.

He says it because we are a huge country that from the beginning has protected the Jewish people . We are the first country that gave them full citizenship , the only country that being born Jewish did not make them a target .
It is our heritage but we have abandoned it and we are in the process of replacing it with people with a destructive heritage towards the Jewish people (we are trading our population for Assyrians )JD loves the country and wishes more to be saved , maybe they will be in the tribulation period.
This country took the gospel all over the world , a remanent of it is still doing just that and God is still pouring out his Spirit in the most unlikely of places :)
Where he is wrong is big means nothing in God’s scheme of things . What happens in this country is not the center , the center is Jerusalem .
I agree with him that we are going to have an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this country once again . Don’t think it will be huge nor turn the nation around.
9/11 should have caused the nation to repent , most did not and still think we are going to have economic recovery (I don’t think so anyone who really understands the numbers knows recovery is but impossible )
I also don’t think a large part of the country will even miss us when we are gone . A large part of this nation is being turned over to a reprobate mind

I don’t understand how anyone could read Isaiah or Revelation and not see America in prophecy.
Because the US isn't!
Most nations aren't explicitly mentioned, only a few. That doesn't mean the US is in the same aggregate as those that aren't mentioned, except in the very final analysis, "Israel & the Nations."
What "nation" is the US?
Abraham-Isaac-Jacob is the "nation" of Israel (Jews).
Abraham-Ishmael is the "nation" of Islam (Muslims).
Now consider Abraham-Isaac-Esau, TWIN of Jacob....What "nation" considers itself grafted onto Israel? What "nation" has a TWIN religious text of Israel? The answer is Christianity (Christians).
Look at the Untied States - forever trying to destroy Israel through the "peace process" and trying to establish the 57th (remember Osatan's 57 states Freudian slip?) Muslim terror state of "palestine."
And now look, the US is waging war in Syria (bordering Israel) and the Russians and Turks have joined. With all The US's troubles, many and major, they are warring in Syria. Isn't there a prophesy about Damascus or something?
The physical Christian nations of the world are the USA and the EU. You can't have ESAU without both USA & EU. That's not a coincidence.
True. I was being logical, maybe too logical. Also, as Lera has somewhat said, we're important because we're the evangelical heart of the world, but that is less and less true as the message spreads outward. When the pilgrims left England, they left empty pomp and ritual behind and brought a purer form of worship. (Of course the Catholic immigrants brought all the ritual back again.)
So we are important in that way. Some of it remains to be seen, especially in the very near future. Maybe JD can talk about some of this sometime.

Imo, the most engaging matter on eschatology is the relatively work being done by various YouTubers regarding Revelation 12.
So we are important in that way. Some of it remains to be seen, especially in the very near future. Maybe JD can talk about some of this sometime.

The USA is important in that its legs are of iron and its feet are of both iron and (now) clay.
I think the future is here. Two things are clearly divine providence:
1 - Christian nations are merging with Islam, not by conquest but by invitation! The Church is not only silent but encourages this merger! This merger is ‘end times’ Jewish prophesy.
2 - Nothing the Enemy has thrown at Trump sticks. Not even the nuclear bomb of ‘racist’ works against him. Hitlery calls him “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic” - everything in the Commie playbook and she winds up being struck down the next day. Trump’s daughter is an observant Jew and his team is filled with Jews in complete disproportion to their being 2% of the population.
The USA is part of ‘the end’, after all it is the largest and most important physical Christian nation in the world, is the greatest warrior nation in the world, controls pretty much everything or at least has a hand in it, etc.

The stage has been being set since World War one
We are admonished to always be ready and waiting .
Looking forward to his coming has the reward of a crown of righteousness for a reason (people who look forward to his return live like they expect him at any minute) .
