Distributionism usually refers to a set of economic principles favoring private property and frowning on concentrations of economic powers in the hands of state or corporations.
Francis' position seems closer to a corporate, centralized state economy, more akin to Euro socialism or Peronism. The Catholic Distributist champions like Belloc and Chesterton wouldn't dream of messing with marriage. I believe Chesterton described marriage as the most Democratic of institutions, one spouse per person.
