'Religious left' emerging as U.S. political force in Trump era

Since President Donald Trump's election, monthly lectures on social justice at the 600-seat Gothic chapel of New York's Union Theological Seminary have been filled to capacity with crowds three times what they usually draw.

In January, the 181-year-old Upper Manhattan graduate school, whose architecture evokes London's Westminster Abbey, turned away about 1,000 people from a lecture on mass incarceration. In the nine years that Reverend Serene Jones has served as its president, she has never seen such crowds.

"The election of Trump has been a clarion call to progressives in the Protestant and Catholic churches in America to move out of a place of primarily professing progressive policies to really taking action," she said.

“Christian left” is anti-Christian and Satanic.

Religious left is not an oxymoron. It is a fact among atheist cults. Much of mainline Protestantism is atheist. It is not Christian and does not adhere to the Judeo/Christian faith. The leadership of much of the Episcopal and United Methodist denominations, among others, are openly and aggressively Marxist.
A dwindling membership continues to hold the line against some of the worse abuses that leadership insists upon in mainline churches. Conservative Bible-centered pastors continue to be systematically removed from their ministries. This has been going on in some regions for 40 years or more.
These appalling conditions are overwhelmed, however, by explosive growth among Bible-centered churches. Christianity is on the rise globally. Just not among large traditional Protestant denominations.
Of special interest is the support of churches in inner city communities. Much of the leadership in these churches is strongly supportive of the platform detailed by President Trump. Perhaps his greatest Christian support is among these pastors.

Some in the religious left are inspired by Pope Francis, the Roman Catholic leader who has been an outspoken critic of anti-immigrant policies and a champion of helping the needy.

Catholic ping!

The “Religious Left” people ally themselves with Muslims because their god is similar: distant, with an arbitrary will that religious leaders can manipulate for worldly reasons.

The One True Christian Trinitarian God is close to us and within us, enacting His chosen, absolute will in accord with the Bible. The Catholic and Evangelical Right differ on some details, but we do agree on that.

In reality, politics is outside this holy realm (see Jesus talking to Pilate in the Praetorium), but we spend almost all our political efforts on defense, fighting their Liberation Theology neo-Marxist evil.

All leftist thought, from the limousine liberalism of a George Clooney to the murderous horrors of Mao, Stalin, and Pol Pot, is of and from Satan. Leftism is a contaminant in the human cognosphere, not a natural component of it.

The “religious left” exists only as another way for evil to attack good.

“If a Komsomol (Communist youth) believes in God and goes to church, he fails to fulfill his duties. This means that he has not yet rid himself of religious superstitions and has not become a fully conscious person.”

They will find out the hard way that there is no concord between Christ and Belial.

To quote Obi-Wan Kenobi:

“Who’s the more foolish? The fool or the fool who follows?”

I call it pure laziness that these morons get suckered so easily to their own damnation.
