Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven,
How Blessed and Wonderful is Your Most Holy Name!
How Magnificent,
How Holy,
How Sanctified and Glorious!
When I Awake in the Morning,
You Are There.
All through the day,
You Are With me.
And When I go to Sleep at Night,
You Are Still Watching Over Us All.
For You Neither Slumber Nor Sleep.

1. I cry out to the LORD with my voice;
With my voice to the LORD I make my supplication.
2. I pour out my complaint before Him;
I declare before Him my trouble.

I love You, LORD
because You have heard My voice and my supplications.
Because You Have inclined Your ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon You as long as I live.

3. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me,
Then You knew my path.
In the way in which I walk
They have secretly set a snare for me.
4. Look on my right hand and see,
For there is no one who acknowledges me;
Refuge has failed me;
No one cares for my soul.

How Wonderful You Are!
Although You Are The Creator,
The Great Designer of The Galaxies,
The Omnipotent Master of The Universe,
You Hear my Voice!
How We Love You, LORD!
For even when it seems that nobody is listening,
You Are There,
And You Will Never Fail Your Beloved.

5. I cried out to You, O LORD:
I said, “You are my refuge,
My portion in the land of the living.
6. Attend to my cry,
For I am brought very low;
Deliver me from my persecutors,
For they are stronger than I.
7. Bring my soul out of prison,
That I may praise Your name;
The righteous shall surround me,
For You shall deal bountifully with me.”

And According to Your Will and Your Promise.
We Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem,
For Israel,
and For Our our Beloved America.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

The Musical Notes at the Beginning of this Psalm explain that it was written by David "While hiding in a cave". People with even a casual knowledge of the Scriptures know that David was providing "Music Therapy" for King Saul and was a faithful servant of the king, but Saul became insanely jealous of him, and threatened his life a number of times. David had to flee to the wilderness, even taking up with the Philistines for a time, to preserve his life.

David wrote some magnificent Psalms during that dark time, and they have been preserved for us in the Canon of Scripture.

Often, through no fault of our own, we find ourselves in a dark place. It could be the loss of a job, a friendship, a loved one, or even our own personal safety. David knows, that in times like these, there is only ONE place to turn...to the Lord.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

God Bless America!

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.
