Strasbourg, June 20, Interfax - The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) issued a judgment on Tuesday in response to a lawsuit filed by a group of Russian citizens who are LGBT community activities, who complained about violations of their right to freedom of expression in connection with the law banning any steps to promote homosexuality among minors.
Under the court's ruling, Russia is to pay 49,100 euros to Nikolay Bayev, Alexey Kiselyov and Nikolay Alexeyev as compensation for pecuniary and moral damage and also in respect of legal costs incurred by them.
The court found that Article 10 (which provides the right to freedom of expression and information) and Article 14 (which bans discrimination) of the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms had been violated.
I can just imagine Putin’s reaction now.

For that matter, how many combat-ready divisions does Europe even have? All I ever see is a bunch of metrosexuals and women training with wooden guns - led by men-hating, gray-haired, women.
Putin could send a company into Europe tomorrow and he’d completely control it.

I imagine Mr. Putin’s response will be somwhere along the lines of “GFYourself” in Russian... which is an entirely appropriate response to the ECHR.
The court normally only has jurisdiction over the EU region....so how and why they put time into this is a big unknown. Maybe Putin will joke around and ask them to allow him to submit paperwork to join the EU then he’d respect their ruling.
