We see evil abounding in our nation and in the world. Our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, devouring everything in his path. It feels like as we take one step forward, we take three steps back. But thanks be to GOD Who gives us the victory through our JESUS CHRIST. When the one who hates us comes in like a flood, the SPIRIT of the LORD will lift up a wall against him. He’ll make everyone pay for what they’ve done: fury for his foes.
Help us put on every piece of Your armor so we will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle we will still be standing firm. Help us to remember Your faithful Promises:
NEHEMIAH 4:14 Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the nobles and the rest of the people and said to them, “Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!”
PSALM 44:4-8 You are my King and my God. You command victories for Israel. Only by Your power can we push back our enemies; only in Your Name can we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me. You are the One Who gives us victory over our enemies; You disgrace those who hate us. O God, we give glory to You all day long and constantly praise Your Name.
PSALM 1-3 The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.
Here on earth we will have many trials and sorrows. But we take heart, because JESUS has overcome the world. Hallelujah!

A Psalm of David, when he was in the Wilderness of Judah.
1 O God, you are my God, I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your power and glory.
3 Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
4 So I will bless you as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands and call on your name.
5 My soul is satisfied as with a rich feast,*
and my mouth praises you with joyful lips
6 when I think of you on my bed,
and meditate on you in the watches of the night;
7 for you have been my help,
