I’m not at all stuck with him. I have 265 popes, prior to Francis, to refer to. Many of them are saints whose feast day Catholics celebrated today.

It’s a belief shared by many, if not most Christians.

Are you a Christian? If so, does your church have a statement of beliefs or Confession - Augsburg, Westminster...? If so, there’s a teaching on it.

Is somebody forcing you to read my posts?

Nope, just checking to see when or if you’ll do anything about your subject but whine about him.

A lot of Catholics are complaining about Bergoglio.

A lot of Catholics are complaining about Bergoglio.

As they should he a walking Charlie Foxtrot. But those that complain about Luther haven't stood up to the clown. Surely they could stand tall and avoid being excommunicated but bring real effects instead of complaining about him in an echo chamber.

It’s not an echo chamber if you can hear it.

Never heard of such a thing. I’m a P.K. and spent my college years in Seminary. What is it and what is the doctrine behind it? Is it Biblical or something “made up”?

I guess it doesn’t matter.

Dude, you can’t even deal with a single Internet gadfly without losing your temper and throwing childish insults around. How are you gonna march into your bishop’s office and demand that Francis be removed, hmmm?

Last night.

The evidence is right on the thread, or shall I recount again how I can quote the Council of Trent and you can’t quote any Luther that isn’t from an I-hate-Protestants website?

Shall I recount the childish insult that you posted as a reaction, followed by quitting the thread?

You can’t even handle ME without losing it, and I’m just black text on a white screen. What are you gonna do about Francis, hmm?

I’m surprised you didn’t discuss it in seminary. Real presence in Eucharist? Sacraments..?

NOT real presence wasn’t a doctrine until 16th Century, after Luther, Zwingli.

Scriptural basis in NT is Matthew, Mark, Luke, Acts, Epistles…

Perhaps you covered under some other rubric in seminary?

Of course they haven’t. Remember, Rome has managed to indoctrinate so many Catholics that they are the One True Church (TM). And so leaving in protest isn’t allowed.

So Francis and his kin KNOW that they can do whatever the heck they want and these Catholics complaining about him will never actually leave their Roman churches. Because after all, getting excommunicated by Pope Francis is still excommunicated, and they won’t be part of the One True Church (TM) after that.

My apologies but I’m not familiar with what P.K. means here?

May I remind you that it was you who accused me of being a "filty liar" last night.

Yes. And in doing so, I gave you a perfect chance to humiliate me with your knowledge and force me to either slink off or apologize to you. Heck, you didn’t even have to have read Luther; you literally have the sum of human knowledge at your fingertips; a single Google search would have brought up the entire Large Catechism where you could pick to your heart’s content.

You had a GLORIOUS chance to humiliate me, but instead of proving that you were telling the truth, you threw a serious tantrum and howled that you weren’t gonna read anything by ‘that heretic.’ In a way that kind of makes me wonder how truthful you were being when you said that you originally read Luther.

As I said, if you can’t handle a single Internet gadfly, how can you handle your bishop? Heck, how can you even handle your priest?

Here’s a Cliff’s Notes version of the history and current situation of various teachings on it:

Bear in mind, like the Most Holy Trinity, it’s not something susceptible to a Cliff’s Notes version.

I gave you a perfect chance to humiliate me...

You don't need help from me; you're doing a great job displaying your temper.
