PROPHETIC TURNING POINT: Passover Sacrifice Carried Out At Foot Of Temple Mount
Unsealed World News ^ | 3/26/2018 | Gary

Posted on 03/26/2018 2:27:30 PM PDT by amessenger4god

There is breaking news out of Jerusalem that descendants of Moses' brother Aaron, called Kohanim, have just conducted a Passover sacrifice at the foot of the Temple Mount, just yards from where the Jewish Temple once stood. The sacrifice is a groundbreaking moment in modern Israeli history and likely the first time since 68 AD that a Passover sacrifice was conducted in such close proximity to the Temple Mount.

Religious Jews have been increasingly eager to build the Third Temple and restart sacrifices, but have been prevented from performing sacrifices in the area in years past by Israeli police and Palestinians.  In 2015 a sacrifice was conducted in West Jerusalem, then in 2016 an even closer sacrifice was carried out on the Mount of Olives.  Last year a sacrifice was conducted closer still, just 400 meters from the Temple Mount, but today's Passover slaughter of a lamb was just one step short of actually occurring where the Temple itself once stood.

Major Israeli religious leaders were in attendance, including MK Yehuda Glick who has tirelessly worked to promote the rebuilding of the Third Temple.  Of nearly equal historical significance is the fact that Israeli police did nothing to prevent the ritual.  Jews are closer than ever to repossessing the Temple grounds.

At the same time, Palestinians are planning a mass march on Israel in the lead up to Israel's 70th anniversary and the U.S. embassy handover from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.  Some 100,000 Gazans will attempt to storm the Israeli border.

Of even more significance, the Knesset is closing in on the first of three votes to pass the Jewish State bill, which if passed will no doubt make 2018 as prophetically significant as 1948 and 1967.  We all need to watch this very, very closely because the next six to eight weeks may be the most important period of time many of us have witnessed in our lifetimes.

Across the border, in Syria, Russian generals continue to warn that a major U.S. fleet buildup in the Western Mediterranean is a prelude to a massive attack on Assad's government in Damascus.

The age of the Gentiles is coming to an end and the Time of Jacob's Trouble is close at hand when God will finally bring Israel to repentance and national recognition that Yeshua is LORD.

Maranatha.

The sacrifice of Christ - the Lamb of God - was the ultimate payment for the sins of the world. In the wake of Christ’s atoning sacrifice, all these animal sacrifices are obsolete

But not over and over again, thousands of times of times a day in all the Catholic masses worldwide.

I believe the Bible. In the epistle to the Hebrews, Paul says, “we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” Once and for all. Ie, after Christs sacrifice, animal sacrifices are a waste of time

I also believe God keeps His Word.

God's unilateral covenant with Israel remains in force, it's promises never fulfilled completely.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new Covenant with the House of Israel, and with the house of Judah. Jeremiah 31:31

The Nation of Israel is commanded to celebrate Passover forever.

"You shall observe this rite as a statute for you and for your sons forever."

- Exodus 12:24

Nobody is sacrificed “over and over again” in the Catholic mass. One sacrifice only is made present to us again.

So we should ignore Jeremiah? Was he just a bullfrog?

If you think Christ was not the final and all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins, then you’re not disagreeing with me, you’re disagreeing with Holy Scripture, the words of St Paul. Also, God didn’t revoke any covenant by providing his son as the sacrifice for the whole world, gentile and Jew alike. He favored everyone with his loving gift of himself.

Then you do not believe that the host literally becomes the body of Christ?

So we should ignore Jeremiah?

We keep all that God says and reconcile them.

Was he just a bullfrog?

😂

I don't disagree with that at all FRiend.

I don't disagree with that at all FRiend.

Yet God's unconditional Covenant to Israel is sure.

His command to the Nation of Israel to celebrate the Passover forever, stands.

Celebrating the Passover isn’t the same as animal sacrifice.

I’m guessing that God is frowning upon this behavior, which He Himself mandated at one point thousands of years ago, since He sent His Son Jesus to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, meaning there is no more need for animal sacrifice.

[Quote-The Nation of Israel is commanded to celebrate Passover forever.]

That’s because of the Passover Lamb 2000 years ago.
Someday Israel and the world will realize that first Passover was a parable for what the Passover Lamb did about 2,000 years ago.
And instead of a physical wilderness journey of 40 years, it has been a Spiritual wilderness for 40 x 50(Jubilee’s) years.

Spiritual Israel would be blessed to see what Passover means to the Father and Son. All those days Israel was called to observe forever are all about the Son.

For His Glory!

Celebrating the Passover isn’t the same as animal sacrifice.

The Passover Sacrifice (קרבן פסח)was the Passover Lamb. It was killed and eaten, no bones broken and the remaining bones burned.

This sacrifice was carried out during the time of Christ in the Second Temple, until its destruction in 70ad.

Jews today have been re-instituting the Passover Sacrifice as commanded. The significance of this year is that the event moved to almost the outer wall that held up the embankment of the Second Temple.

Yes they will, but it will not be happy at first...

"I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.

Barbarity

The USA imported 250,000,000 pounds of lamb and mutton in 2017

We exported 5,900,000 pounds of lamb and mutton last year.

A bit more than one little lamb sacrificed.

IMHO, not the best meat to eat, but if you're hungry, it's great!
