Glory to God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. We worship You and thank You that we can bring our petitions to You. In so doing, we acknowledge that we need You and we trust in Your love for us to answer us. There is no one like our God.

We pray today for all the prayer warriors around the world who are praying for our beloved troops and for our Nation. Strengthen and encourage them so that they will not become weary in well doing. We know that You answer and that “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].”

We ask You, Sir, for enough prayer warriors to accomplish Your good and perfect will for our Nation. May this National Day of Prayer be a turning point for us. We will not walk by what we see, but by our confidence in Your goodness.

We pray along with the Presidential Prayer Team asking You:
• For wisdom for the president as he authorizes a federal grant for drug-free communities.
• For guidance as he and the administration craft legislation to address the drug crisis.
• ..to use the president and first lady as they host the event at the White House this evening.

Thank You for answering our prayers today in Jesus' name. Amen.
