Dutch Catholic Church is Rapidly Disappearing – Archbishop

Over the next decade, the entire archdiocese of Utrecht is estimated to be reduced from 280 to less than 15 churches that still hold Eucharistic celebrations, according to Archbishop Wim Eijk.

In an interview with local newspaper the Gelderlander, the Archbishop disclosed that 1 in 10 parishes in his diocese are bankrupt, with only 1 in 10 able to be considered ‘rich’, with the other 8 in 10 being somewhere in between.

The problem lies in the fact that there is an ageing population coupled with a rapid decline in church attendance. Catholic Churches are currently seeing an annual decrease in attendance of over 5 per cent, and less of those who still attend are supporting the church financially.

According to the latest figures from the Nijmegen institute Kaski, an average of 173,500 individuals out of the Netherlands’ 3.5 million Catholics attend weekend church sessions.

According to Eijk, “the church is not closed by people who are still coming or by me, but by those who stay away and do not contribute anymore.”

Before it went all atheist Red Light District on everyone, the Dutch were primarily Protestant anyway.

History is strange.

Nazis lost but in fact have won in Europe over the long term with respect to their goals and policies ultimately being implemented.

No worries. These guys are currently 5% of the Dutch population, and rising fast. They'll be happy to fill the void.

“The problem lies in the fact that there is an ageing population coupled with a rapid decline in church attendance. “

Why do you suppose that is? have anything to do with the fact that the Dutch chose to allow anything at all in their country? Do what you want!

Euthanasia is common in Holland.

“coffee shops” dispense pot.

Same sex “marriage” common.

Whore shops with glass windows so you can see and choose your ho from the street.

They f*cking didn’t have any faith! They were f*cking atheists! So yes, there is a decline in church attendance.”

We don’t have those things in the US (yet), but we’re facing the same reality in terms of church attendance. We also have an ageing population coupled with a rapid decline in church attendance; we’ve become Western Europe. The hordes of braceros and coolies we traffick here to keep the lights on have no time or patience for “church”.
