Please stop making a false distinction between Obama and Putin especially as it pertains to the above. They are both equally bad in these regards.

Please explain what you mean by "equally bad." Putin has no qualms about killing muslims, while Obama kowtows to them and fondly remembers his islamic call to prayers. Thats makes your comment sound daft.

Untrue. If you had ever spent time in Russia and lived there for awhile as I did, you would understand this better.

Russians are really anti-consumerism and see our attachment to it as tacky and beneath them. They have the most beautiful commercials, and no one is yapping nonstop about deals, deals, deals.

When I came home from Russia I had to turn off radio commercials as I felt like I was being assaulted by them.

In Russia people stop and have conversations of passion and spirituality quite often. They value community over individualism as does the Orthodox faith. Russians are generous to a fault. Visit a remote area of Russia and people will knock on your door all evening with hot dishes of food and gifts to welcome you. While visiting a Russian home you must be careful not to admire something such as a wall hanging too much or they will pull it down and hand it to you.

The dislike of westernism is quite widespread there and I had many many long conversations with Russians about it.

Orthodoxy has their faults as well, in particular nationalism. Protestants are too divided.
