Father, our hearts pant after You and the manifestation of Your Kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven. Along with Your heart and will, we pray for the people in our United States of America to turn to You. We hear of revivals popping up in our South right now and ask for the fire to spread. We are so grateful for the thousands that have recently given their lives to You. We are confident that You will develop them and cause them to glorify You as they come forth as the new creations (a whole new species) You have made them to be. Old things are passed away in their lives.

Each one of us has a place in Your Kingdom, and we yield to Your Spirit's will. Nevertheless, from our perspective, we ask You for evangelists, for open doors, for Your Word to have free course and for You to give all of us a mouth and utterance enemies of the cross are unable to refute. Pour out wisdom and understanding that our people may "walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity], to fully please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts." Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord.

We are grateful for this gathering place of prayer for our United States and elected officials. We pray for something comparable to develop for local elected officials around our Nation. We trust in Your leading on this.

So, as the psalmist prayed, we ask You to "let Your work [the signs of Your power] be revealed to Your servants And Your glorious majesty to their children. And let the [gracious] favor of the Lord our God be on us; Confirm for us the work of our hands—Yes, confirm the work of our hands."

Praying in the name of Jesus, Amen.
