Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP/VICE PRESIDENT MIKE PENCE and AMERICA: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14

1 Corinthians 3:6-7  I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

Ephesians 4:16  From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part.

Colossians 2:19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase [that is] from God.

Ephesians 4:11-14 And He Himself gave some [to be] apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

Philippians 1:3-6 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete [it] until the day of Jesus Christ;

Father God, we are united today as we come boldly before Your throne of grace to petition for the Body of Christ in our United States of America.

You have told us that “in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron”, but that does not prevent us from praying for an awakening!  We pray especially for hirelings to come to the knowledge of saving grace as they routinely encounter Your Word in their religious exercises.  Please enlighten and convict them through the sword of the Spirit.  We ask for those who are endeavoring to follow You in Truth to have their lights shine brighter and brighter, picking up speed as they mature in You.  As the dark gets darker, we pray for favor, increase and fruitfulness.  May the wealth of the sinners flow freely into their hands.

We pray for the enemies of the cross of Christ to come to the knowledge of the Truth so that they can be saved.  We look forward to many Sauls becoming Pauls.  We have on our hearts the sons of Israel who are so deceived that they oppose Your way of doing and being right.  Send them Your Word so that they can be healed and “to make [them]wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” (2 Timothy 3:15)

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for not giving up on us and causing us to be fruitful and multiply.  Amen.

Joining in the prayers here today, Lord and lifting up those who you have called to do the work of pastors and teachers. We ask that you keep them focused on you and help them rise above the temptations of the day for as your word says in James 3:1 Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.

We pray Psalm 119:144-145 over them (144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live. 145 I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord: I will keep thy statutes.)

These things we ask in Jesus name. Amen
