I've read through the Koran before, and a lot of sites critical of Islam over the years. None of them have ever said there was a double payoff for martyrdom during Ramadan. Grider cites nothing from the Koran, Sirahs, or Hadiths to back up his claim.

The cause of the violence is ISIS and Al Queda fighting for dominance of the Islamic world. No other religion is as contradictory or hypocritical about violence as Islam, but it still does not explicitly reward violence during Ramadan.
