This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

Dear Heavenly Father, Almighty God, Ruler Supreme over Heaven and Earth,

We come to You asking for Your Mercy. . . we are living in times that could not have been imagined fifty years ago. Evil is abound all over our country. . .all over the world. Our nation will only be as great as its people’s choices . . .good vs. evil as defined by Your Word.

We pray for our President and Vice-President, their families, and those in government as well as ordinary citizens who have chosen the road less taken, the road paved with Your Divine Will with signs placed along the way to help make right decisions. . .may You find us forever faithful and not making detours off Your path to “get along” with the evil minded who are often in unmarked cars . . .in disguise . . . influencing the unsuspecting. May those who know about the Final Destination with the Special Accommodations for believers and unbelievers . . . .be ever ready and faithful to witness to those who are lost along life’s highway.

We pray for those who have been devastated by the loss of lives through storms, shootings as well as those victimized by evil business practices, sex slavery, the lies of abortion and those persecuted and martyred for the cause of Christ.

Lord we are constantly bombarded with the climate change mantra as well as the attempt to destroy our homeland. . .our sovereignty . . . even some church leaders have joined the parade. As I studied the “rules of the road” and the various signs this week for my written driver’s test, I was reminded of the signs of the last days and what will eventually happen to this world . . .I felt Your leading me to include for those joining in today’s prayer the Holy Spirit - inspired Words of Peter as well as citing a commentary on those words. But according to His promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:13). Peter describes in verses 11-12: “Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.” Christians know what is going to happen, and we should live in a way that reflects that understanding. This life is passing away, and our focus should be on the new heavens and earth to come. Our “holy and godly” lives should be a testimony to those who do not know the Savior, and we should tell others about Him so they can escape the terrible fate that awaits those who reject Him. We wait in eager anticipation for God’s “Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come”.

Lord, You have laid upon my heart this week the fact that this world is not our ultimate home. Man made rules will not in any way change the plan You have already in place for the existing heavens and earth. Until the day You call us home, our ultimate duty is to You, Lord. . .spreading the Gospel in Jesus Name to those You place in our path. May You find us forever faithful.

Thank You for hearing our prayers on Free Republic as we vigilantly pray for America . . . President Trump, Vice-President Pence, their families, our military, our country’s citizens, defenders of freedom, all levels of government, family, law enforcement, business, education, churches, health care systems, the news, media and social media. And on a personal note, thank You again for keeping me focused to pass my written driver’s test.

In all things we give You honor, praise and glory in the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

LORD, please hear the prayers offered by Maudeen and others here.
Our nation is in need of You. We are blessed that You heard our prayers
and presented us a warrior to fight for us.
We pray he will do Your will in eliminating the moles
which make the foundation of this nation highly unstable.
Please give him the necessities to erase Socialism,
Satan’s curse, from this world.
We pray for Your Word and the Great Awakening to
spread over this world.
You have taught us there is nothing too big.
You overcome all evil which surrounds us.

As always, we pray for our brethren, ill and injured, that they be healed in spirit, mental, and physical health.
